  • Yeah I would definitely shed the clothes to help survive the heat. That would be a very practical thing to do and not intentionally provocative.

    • Thank you banna for MHO! 🙋‍♂️

    • You're welcome.

  • yes but it depends on the environment too. Clothing may give protection from bugs, sun, brush, etc.

  • Yes, although if there's lots of bugs I'd probably keep the clothes on for additional protection.

Wilderness where I live includes an unfortunate amount of bugs, some of which carry bad diseases.

  • I have central sleep apnea to a degree that falling asleep without my CPAP machine means risking serious brain damage, and passing out probably means death. No joke- my doctor took a look at my sleep study results, did a double take, and then said "Check again, mister [Namer]; are you sure you're still alive?". Facing that prospect makes you very willing to take risks to stay upright.

    • Cpaplm?

  • Under clothes, absolutely. Also, if I was stranded in the wilderness, I'd be able to put survival over my romantic desires regardless of whom I'm with.

  • Sure, it’s crazy hot out and it might inspire her to do the same

  • If it is about boldness, yeah, I would. I might like her, but if I need to be in my underwear to survive, that is no issue.

  • This might sound like a good idea, because you maybe saw the television show "Naked and Afraid", but in reality this is a bad idea, unless you're just trying to get laid. Anyway this is a bad survival idea. the clothes protects you from the direct exposure to the sunlight. Without clothes you will get severe sunburn and dehydrate a LOT faster, and you'll most likely get eaten alive by pest insects such as gnats and mosquitoes, and women, some pest insects will crawl up inside your vagina if you aren't wearing underwear.

So ironically, if you are lost in the desert or other wilderness and it's very hot, you actually need ot be wearing LOOSE FITTING long sleeves and pants, OR a robe like they wear in the middle east with a wide brimmed hat or other total head covering. This will actually keep you cooler than going totally naked.

  • No, if we weren't in a relationship, I'd be too modest for that.

  • I'm a nudist so, I'm be comfortable stripping to nude if the other person was comfortable with it as well.

  • Australian wilderness? I am keeping my pants on.. and socks.. and boots. Too many snakes, leaches etc that could bite!

  • We've done that before except getting stuck wherever.

  • Id consider it, but one of the first lessons of heat survival is to stay dressed. Even though its hot, the air between your body and your clothes is going to be more moderated than being completely exposed. Also dehydration rate increases with more skin surface area being exposed, plus sunburn.

    • I know, im not being fun with this one.

  • It depends on where we were. But in the wilderness with close family, close friends or a partner heck yeah :)

  • I'd strip naked if she would too !

  • Would this be like the Naked and Afraid tv show? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

  • From a survival standpoint, that's not a smart thing to do.

  • Yeah, idc if my crush is there, I'm simply taking off my clothes because it's hot as hell.

Imagine not taking off your clothes when it's hot as hell merely because your crush is there, couldn't be me.

  • Heck yeah when it's Hot in the Wilderness we got cool down some way

  • In the 'wilderness'?
Never: Insects, sunburn, vegetation with thorns, ...

  • Yes.
But I would not stay in the sun.

  • I don't see it as bold if I'm with my crush

But i guess it's just a me thing

I never understood embarrassment under those circumstances
