I’m thinking about getting an IUD, but I’m not sure how it’ll effect the intimacy between my boyfriend and I. Are there any guys on here who have experience having sex with a girl who has an IUC? Do you feel it during sex? Does it bother you? What do you think about them? Any tips and advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help! :)

No. The IUD is in the womb, behind the cervix, not in the vagina. If they guy can feel it, you need to see your OB/GYN right away; it means an epic fail.

I’ve read that as well, but I think you have like a 5% chance of that happening in the first 2 weeks and then it drops to 2% .. thanks for the feedback though. 😊👍

Natural? These things cause massive problems for women from vaginal bleeding to bloating issues of the fallopian tubes, scarring in the area, and infections. The vagina is not meant to have something stuck in it like that for long periods of time "blocking" it. Which is why I've known at least 3 women who have had them literally fall out, because the body can reject it. The only "natural" birth control is just not have sex, or use condoms (which they used to make from pig intestines FYI)

There's a reason they only last 12 years (if done right) and that's because they are plastic and it takes that long before your body effectively can break it down enough that they can't guarantee it. Even the website says you could spend the first 3 to months in pain and the damn thing isn't even foolproof! I know a guy who's girl had this and she had some major problems when she was the one in oh so few they say that get pregnant while on these. They don't talk about all the women who have had these things malfunction and gotten pregnant at the same time.
