Guys/girls who like their to have pubic hair, would this be a turn off?

Guys who prefer to have some hair on a girls pubic region, how important is it to you?

I've always hated having any pubic hair cause I think it looks terrible so ever since I started getting it, I have shaved it off. But because I stared off using the wrong technique (shaving against the grain) I have had horrible ingrown hair problems ever since. I thought maybe plucking the hairs out instead of shaving might help it, so I started doing that as well, which worked great for a while, until it got so much worse. And now my pubic region not only looks terrible, but is painful from the severe ingrown hair problem. So I am now interested in getting laser hair removal for down there. Which is most likely a permanent solution to my problem. I have spoken to my boyfriend about it, and he thinks I should do it, because he knows how self conscious I am of it (it has really held us back sexually cause I don't want him to see it) but I also know his preference is no hair anyway. But in the chance we don't work out and I get with a guy who prefers hair down there, will it be a turn off?

  • I'm like you, I started getting rid of it as soon as it started growing. I've tried plucking, shaving, waxing and finally settled on sugaring. Sugaring is like waxing but you use a sticky mixture if sugar, water lemon juice and maybe some aeromatic for a nice aroma. It does hurt like waxing, probably a bit less although you're yanking hair out by its roots!

I've actually been thinking of getting laser hair removal as well. My guy has never seen me with any more than a little bit of blonde fuzz, he says he loves it bare. (When I've let it grow out a little bit it's sparse and patchy anyway, looks better gone!) Definitely shows his appreciation for my smooth little peach! I think it helps to have pretty girl parts in the first place, the hair removal further enhances her feminine beauty.

Have to laugh at those who always say that a woman who removes her hair down there looks like a little girl; a woman looks very different from a prepubescent girl other than both having smooth vulva the mature woman looks just that. I think maybe a lot of them are afraid to try it or something so they offer that argument.

    • Thank You!!

  • This is a permanent body modification, and should only be done for YOU if it's what YOU want. Don't ever do something like this to please anyone but yourself.

If you want this, then do it, and don't worry about someone in the future who might turn you down, because you'll want to date someone who likes the same things as you do in bed.

  • If my partner chose to do that, it would bother me a bit, because I like pubic hair on him. But it wouldn't be a deal breaker. I would just have to go through a mourning period lol.

  • Some guys insist on hair being there. Some insist i be completely bare. The majority may have an opinion but they can accept either way. But these days many women are baring it permanently. If that is what works for you, and considering the problems you are having, I think you should go ahead and go permanently bare.

  • most guys prefer it smooth or at least trimmed. just so it's not really hairy.

    • But no hair at all?

    • Yea, smooth/hairless is preferred. no guy is gonna be upset bc you don't have hair pubic hair.

  • I think most guys would be like your current boyfriend. But moreso than doing it for a lover or potential future lover, do it for yourself and what you prefer.

  • I don't think it should matter really.

  • I wouldn't be with someone who was bare. I know it sounds shallow but it makes me feel like I'm banging a child

    • Amen. I feel the same way. I want a woman to have hair down there. It is so much more beautiful with.

  • My husband loves pubic hair on me but we both shave it bald most of the time we go to nude beaches or nude resorts i have sported a full bush at nude beaches i was a very hairy bush front to back and the sand is a pain to get out but I will sport a thick runway i trim my husband's pubes to a runway or shave it off sometimes

  • Its hard to say, maybe if it doesn't work and they grow out properly you'll be okay?

  • Keep the bush, grow the bush, nurture the bush, even pet the bush

  • I think most guys prefer it (and girls too, it's so lovely smooth ^^). I don't think that it is a big matter to them anyway. If it's gonna help your problem, then it is a good solution.

  • I prefer a trimmed and edged bush. I just like the look and feel of it. But if you were baby-bottom smooth, that would be OK too.

  • Bald is beautiful

  • meh.

  • Pubic hair on a woman is very important to me and I find it a turn on. For some reason I can't get aroused if a woman shaves it off and if I am aroused before taking womans clothes off I go soft if she doesn't have pubic hair.

  • More hair the better

  • No, it won't be a turnoff.

  • most men like no pubic hair... only a few really love hairy girls.

  • i lasered mine off years ago and in my experience most guys like bare

  • I'd like for girls to shave it, I'd shave mine as well (which I want to do) if the girl finds it as a turn off, otherwise I'd keep it if they like it.

  • i dont mind if there's pubic hair on the pussy

  • My personal preference for me is trimmed. I keep my pubes at about 1/3 a inch long. And not too thick in one spot because it's comfortable. I think I wouldn't want my partner to be too overgrown so to speak but beyond that idc too much

  • I want to meet a girl that's old school... hairy... I haven't seen that in years! But I do like it shaved too so the option to have some hair is nice when the novelty wears off... off the hair goes
