Mine are super irregular, and I can either have NO side affects (cramps, headaches etc), or terrible affects. Currently, I am having mind numbingly terrible cramps and head aches, I'm very irritable and all I want is peanut m&m's.
Ibuprofen helps but would midol help better?
Also, what can I do to help make my period more regular? I can go 2-3 months without getting my period and then I randomly do again.
do you prefer tampons, pads or the weird cups, and why?
And any other tips/facts are always welcome!

Yea I get very irritable and sad before my period, and VERY irritable and mad during it. I can never really tell when im about to get it though because my PMS can start like 3 weeks before and last the entire time or only like 1 day before.

Also, my mom and step dad are weird about the BC, they think im gonna have sex if im on it and i dont want sex, id rather do everything but that. And I've never been to a gyno before so I don't know if that plays a factor or anything

What Girls & Guys Said
36 6Mine never really affects me so I feel sorry for those it does affect, because i've heard it can be awful. I sometimes get a bit grouchy a week or so before, and my nipples are erect for the week before.. then it comes and goes, easily enough that I normally forget i'm on until the boyfriend wants sex, then I remember!
at your age, that's normal. it's only worrisome if it's still like that after you turn 18.
Since I've been on the pill, I only choose to get them a few times a year and they're really light
They are ok plus since I lost pounds they don't stay long only 1 or 2 days in general. I don't have any pain or anything and for my mood that don't affect me at all.
I always have cramps the first 2 days. Most girls use tampons but I use pads.
Ah, I know irregular periods very much. Mine are always irregular that when its regular, it kind of takes me by surprise lol. I think for me it has a lot to do with stress tho and possibly hormone imbalance.
Mine are regular and I dont take pills of any kind to stop pain or alter my state at that time. They are super painful for one day when I can't up from bed and just want to stay alone and cry. Dont like human being near me for that one day. Just for the safety of people I do not go around them but have never been disrespectful to anyone or raised my voice as an excuse of periods.
Very irregular.
Most months I skip it.
When it do get it rarely, theyre either super light and I barely bleed or they're horrible and I wanna be in bed and on midol all day haha
I've heard some girls say it honestly isn't that bad and some say it's physical torture. It's weird how it affects women so differently.
It also depends on what else is going on. There are female issues like endometriosis and other things that make it worse.
Unless I'm on bc mine aren't regular but they are never painful or particularly heavy
My are ALWAYS on time and crippling. I literally get sick on mine. I get a fever and I bloat so much. It feels like my uterus is going to fall out of my vagina lol!
Non-existent
Though hearing about them makes me feel really bad for women, If I had to bleed through a hole every month I'd be freaking out.
Mine are regular, only last for like 3 and half days and I don't get very heavy bleeeing so I'm lucky there. Sometimes I get excruciatingly painful cramps like I'll literally pray to the gods to take me out of my misery it gets that bad. And other times I get no cramps or very dull aches.
Try midol. Tampons are cleaner. Stimulation helps with cramps.
😔😞
mine used to be really regular but after I got on the pill it was terrible sometimes I had my period twice a month and some months I didn't have it, since I stopped it came back to Normal and the only thing I feel is back pain and get really tired but nothing horrible
