(17)Like someone said, sometimes girls have irregular periods and they don't want a surprise period to show up and ruin their pants, underwear, and embarrass themselves at school or whatever.
Some girls have a lot of discharge, and some days can be more excessive than others.
Sometimes I wear a panty liner if the fabric of my underwear is bothering me.
Sometimes they just have spotting between periods.
Personally, I'll only wear pads when I'm not on my period if I'm having diarrhea or if there's any worry about bleeding. I used to wear pads a lot when my periods were irregular before. Cuz it was like "you never know when it'll come or go." It came whenever it wanted and it would last however long it wanted. But now it's regular so I just start wearing pads about a day before it's due or I start carrying them with me and use them right when I notice it starting
They might do it if they have a yeast infection to catch the discharge from the medication.
No girl does that man. Though girls do wear this type of pad (not for periods) but for collecting vaginal discharge which can be very annoying sometimes
