Why would a guy stop during intercourse?

Ok, so I was at this guy's house, and all night he was trying to have sex with me and we kept getting really hot and steamy and we would stop. Well, we went to sleep, and when I woke up I decided to give him what he wanted, so we started having sex. Well, I turned and bit the pillow and he just stopped and that was it. It hardly lasted 2 minutes! My question is, what the hell happened? I don't think he came, I've had sex with him before, and it lasted a while. Guys, would you stop out of nowhere? If you were going to, why would you? He commented and said I was the one who was tapping out early, but clearly it was him who called it quits, but I let him go ahead and say it was my idea.

There are only a few reasons that, if I'm having sex, I will stop. First, if I am somehow (unintentionally of course) causing pain I will stop, but in this case once the issue is resolved we'll normally pick back up again. If she really doesn't seem to be enjoying it (different from being in pain) no matter what she tells me (like that she really is enjoying it) I will stop because it will put a mental block on sexual activity for me for at least an hour, I'll just completely lose interest. The last reason I would stop is if it clearly isn't doing it for me. If it doesn't feel good at all, I'm distracted by something unrelated or anything like that on my end, I'll stop.

I can't attest to what everyone else is like, but assuming your guy is at all like me, from your story its obviously not the first reason I gave, but he may have been under the belief that you were just like "fine, lets do it and get it over with" in which case he may have lost interest, thinking that you didn't really want to do it. Alternatively, maybe he just wasn't in the mood and in trying to save face/appear macho tried to blame it on you. That's all I can think of.

Why don't you think he had an orgasm? The only times I stop during sex is either if I'm about to come and it's too soon, or if we are having a marathon f*** session where I'm doing all the work and I need to chill for a minute. If he can come as soon as 2 minutes then I'd guess that he kept stopping the night before because he was trying to hold it in.

If the guy is worried he's hurting you he'll stop, another thing is if he wants to drive a chick nuts he'll stop for awhile until she's begging for it, happens with my boyfriend almost every time.(granted he starts up again)

Just a random guess, but maybe he thought he was hurting you. I would definitely stop for that.

Maybe he didn't feel like you were into it. You can say it, but if it doesn't FEEL right then.. hmm.
