Women's body types. Favorite and explanation?

I have noticed that there is so much controversy over women's body types. Guys, I want to know, what do you classify as being skinny, average, curvy, and a bbw? What is your favorite body type? Yes the 2 questions will be a little contradictory to my point but still, I need an explanation. I know a lot of girls who are more slender or skinny but are totally mean (yes I know there are some sweethearts) and then girls who are heavier that are nicer (some can be meaner because they are insecure about their weight). I will hear guys talk about how they only will date slender, petite, skinny girls and they say they don't want to date/have sex with a girl that is over this ___ much weight. Really? What if you just took out the chance for a really great girl because she was over that weight? If you are fit, great! more power to you. If you have more weight than most, work it and improve yourself only if you feel it's in YOUR best interest, not some guys'. I just think all that should matter is how a girl carries her self in confidence and personality not by her outsides.Why does body type matter at all?

Saying people should date those they are not attracted to or 'give them a chance' doesn't work.

Are you bisexual? If not, it would be like me saying 'why don't you give some lesbians a chance, you could be missing out on a great partner'.

It just doesn't work like that. You - have- to be sexually attracted to someone to want to be in a monogamous relationship with them. Otherwise, you're friends, if you get along that great.

I don't really classify women as 'skinny/average/curvy/bbw'.

I prefer women who are slim, at least through the waist. I'm happy with a range of thigh/butt sizes.

National averages don't reflect regional ones. I live in the suburbs, work in a downtown core. In the suburbs, most adults are fat, where I work, most are not.

And to answer your latter question:

If a girl is over my weight limit, I'm not interested.

If a girl is within my physical parameters, but a bitch, I'm not interested.

There are many things that can disqualify a girl for me, But if romantic relations were not based upon physical attraction, then how we looked wouldn't matter at all.

I'm not out looking for platonic friendships, so yes, physical attraction is first and foremost.

And THEN I'll see about looking into her persona.

I think your observation between a man's and women's definition of curvy is correct. I also find that women who are overweight call themselves thick. There seems to be some confusion there as well.

the men's definition of curvy won't let me see the pic. I guess you are right though. Women and men have their own definitions and the pictures helped! This basically answered my question :)

i think men generally prefer an hour glass figure!they prefer a Female figures are typically narrower at the waist than at the bust and hips.only 8% of females are hourglass figured!

Kheserthorpe is right: we date people that we are physically attracted to. Men are very visual. That's why lingerie and p*rn have been around forever. Some of us have history that restricts our "attractive range" filter. I was married to fat for 27 years. I hated that and will never go back to it. I like curvy women so it's not like skinny is the rage. I'm more of a booty guy than a breast man so that's where it starts.

For the United States that may be true, but the United States is a country of obese people. How does a size 14 compare to that of Europe?

To me skinny seems to be like slender where their obviously isn't much meat on your body but hopefully just enough so that I won't have really see your bones poking out. Average is pretty much what you assume, not really fat nor skinny just in the middle with some sort of features a guy may like. Curvy is pretty the whole bombshell package I suppose, there's no way you can go wrong with that. BBW to me is probablly over 20% body fat or more for their own weight. Being that I'm fit, yes weight is a big factor for me including most men. But I will say is that if your working on it then I'm sure we can try & work something out.
