Okay, so my girlfriend was well over 21 and when she had sex. The reason I would want her mother's consent is because I got it. Before we had sex her mother said that if anyone was to take her daughter's virginity, she wanted it to be me. After we did it, she said she's glad I was the one to take her virginity. So even though we didn't seek parental approval, we got it firm her mom.
