Seriously, these guys want to make it a big deal that they "went their own way" and constantly wants to tell everyone about it. Then, they call themselves "Good men" and gloat about what women will be missing. Like seriously? One, Good Men don't call themselves Good Men. Two, if you don't want to date, why should I care? Three, from the way they act, they're not men women wanted to date in the first place.
They go through one little heartbreak and now every woman is a heartless harpy. Because god forbid that they acknowledge that a vagina is not a hive mind. Another problem I've seen is lack of responsibility. I have not met one MGTOW that has admitted "I became MGTOW due to bad luck. Dating is not my forte". Nope. It's always "SOCIETY IS EVIL AND IM FORCED TO BECOME MGTOW!".
Anyone notice this same behavioral pattern?

@ras144 I never said all the members of our groups are perfect. we all might have different background mindset but in the end unlike feminists we don't go around pointing fingers and looking for a way to antagonize the opposite gender and those who disagree with us. all we do is worry about ourselves and try to better ourselves in the long run without the need of the approval of the opposite gender/those who oppose us.

I can't speak for @Decentguy at all, but just for myself, my comment was more thinking about the whole MGTOW vs. Femininism thing in general, and how large groups of people are acting so melodramatic and divisive in their need to hate on each other, and that their whole argument is childish and a waste of time when all these people could just get on with making happy lives for themselves instead of hating on each other and judging each other. So my comment was actually more thinking of those groups, and not directed toward you or your question specifically. You said I was hating on your question but, um, no... nothing I said was hateful. I was literally just expressing my opinion on the topic at hand, which is the whole point of the GaG community, right?

As for what you said about anger... yes, anger is going to happen sometimes in any life, and anger is an emotion, so it's neither "right" nor "wrong" - it just IS. It's something that happens unbidden, we don't choose to feel anger. And it can be a useful tool in society and in our individual lives. So we don't choose to feel anger when it arises, but we DO choose our response to it. How do we handle our anger? Do we resolve it, or do we let it fester? Do we feed it? That's where hate comes in. Hate and anger aren't the same thing at all. Anger arises unbidden and is a feeling, but hate is a choice. Hate takes anger and lack of understanding and discomfort and puts them all together and takes a further step - the "I have decided you are evil and I am better than you" step. That's the part I disagree with. That's the part that keeps people divided, and prevents unity and understanding. That's the very step the MGTOWs take that your question was acknowledging and criticizing.
@ras144 And, gently, it's a step you also seemed to take in your response to @Decentguy's and my comments. The comments you made in this thread came off pretty aggressive, at least in my eyes, when what I had said was meant peacefully. And in that sense, they kind of are an example of the useless divisiveness I was talking about. Like, I look at what just happened between you and @Decentguy, where at this point you are both guilty of insulting each other and such. And I just can't help but wonder, what would have happened if the two of you could have had an open and honest discussion where no one attacks, judges, or insults each other, but instead you dove deeper into the debate and shared your different ideas openly? Maybe something really interesting and productive could have come from that? I guess we'll never know. And to me that's a shame. It's a wasted opportunity.

Some I understand why, fucked over for many years of their life through divorce settlement or even in extreme cases, sex register for false rape accusation. The ones with reason to be MGTOW are the only ones I see as allowed to. The MGTOWs you see on /r/MGTOW and posting on this website are the children MGTOW who like to brag "muh high IQ" whereas the ones you talk to who are MGTOW are actually nice people.
