I've heard some girls say they knew some guy who pretended that he was a virgin when he really wasn't, but I have never ever heard of this as a common occurance. Why would a guy pretend to be a virgin when male virginity is stigmatized? That doesn't make much sense.

I am utterly surprised by people saying they've actually known these guys. I've only heard about it once or twice, and even now I find it still hard to believe. Since male virginity is usually frowned on and joked about it, I cannot understand how a guy could even take a risk of pretending that for sympathy sex. I personally don’t see a point in guys lying about being virgins. If anything they’d lie about NOT being one as they love to brag how experienced in bed they are. I had one guy who told me he’s done it before but he acted like a virgin. However everyone is different.
