Apparently the money transfer was non-reversible and he knew know personal information about the girls, so he had no way of redress for his grievances.

    On a different note, I actually have had "girls" (ostensibly, though perhaps not in actuality) convince me to go on cam for them, talk me into taking off my clothes, and then suddenly interrupt the flow of our conversation with a sudden declaration that they weren't actually the person they claimed to be, that they had recorded videos and taken screenshots of all of our interactions, and that they would disseminate these publicly as well as give them to online publications to share as well as sharing directly with any family and friends of mine that they could find, including people I know on social media. Such threats never concerned me much, so I never gave in to any of these blackmailers' demands.

    So my suggestion to people may be that they should be wary of other people, especially on the Internet where it is very difficult to ascertain a person's identity and true motives.
