Some of my best friends are women, including my actual best friend. And to think that there has to be some kind of sexual tension there, or that oh man cannot be platonic friends with a woman as some other users have suggested, does a disservice to both men and women. If a man is run by his sexuality, I can understand that he wouldn't be able to be platonic friends with a woman. But if he is not, if he has higher levels of consciousness, then it is easy for him to be just friends. Without sexual interest

I completely agree. I have several friends that are women and for a while my best friend was a woman and there wasn't anything sexual about that relationship. We just enjoyed talking about and doing (non-sexual) things together.

Depends on whether the female is objectively physically attractive or not. If she is objectively hot/pretty or even decent, then no, it's not possible.

At some point there will be that stray enuendo that rears its head, but if the friendship is just that and they both know that it probably most likely will stay just that... enuendos become almost like busting balls. Just to give a bit of hard time..( no pun intended)

Yes, I have a 50-year-old neighbor that I am friends with and often visit with. I am not in the least sexually attracted to her nor do I believe she would find someone as young as me sexually attractive.

I find that hard to believe. Don't think so. But obviously there will be people doing it.

Somebody always cracks. Spend enough time with the opposite sex and human nature kicks in.
