Do guys actually understand bra sizes?
Is there just a mental scale or something similar?
Yeah, and the different manufacturers say they are all the same, 34B, but they don't fit the same! Every company is a little different!
One company has "Half-Cup" sizes! What about women that have one, slightly larger than the other? Quite common, I hear.
I Love knowing what feels comfortable, for any woman I am with!
Yeah, I have been with her, sneaking into the dressing rooms, when she wants me to, and saying I picked the wrong size, as it didn't fit her, like some other brand!
Same with panties, and dresses!! Women's clothes sizes are so FKCED UP!!
Then, some news thing comes out, saying 80% of women are wearing the WRONG bras!! How do you all know if what you are wearing is 'RIGHT" and what is "RIGHT"?
Well said
@mslivy Why do you Ladies put up with that, and pay so much for these things?
Bras in specific or just clothes
Breasts are a part of the female anatomy that I know shockingly little about. It's because I've never been a breast man. I have a vague understanding: A (flat), B (is for bigger), C-D (classical "perfection"), E (Tig-ol'-bitties). But mostly I think of it as nipple, areola, & the excess.
I do take some comfort in knowing that women frequently share part of my ignorance. Because so many of them discover that they "have been wearing the wrong cup-size" - and they are usually stocked by it. Granted, breasts can & do change sizes over time & that just complicates things for everyone.
I forget that you can't do Plus signs. So... E-... I? (Tig-ol'...) Now I can comment on your 36H. I hear that & think Dolly Parton in her prime & I feel sorry for your back.
"A (flat), B (is for bigger), C-D (classical "perfection"), E (Tig-ol'-bitties)" this concept is totally incorrect!
@softlyautumnal maybe clarify the band size importance before saying that but I agree
Guys? Half the girls don't wear the right size bras. I wonder what they do when one of their boobs is a different size then their other when it happens?
What I would have said
Some girls don't even know their correct bra size, why would the average man unless they sell bra or make them?
More do than dont I'd guess and it's more a curious question

I've gone shopping for bras with women, and I'm fairly certain I understand sizes about as well as is possible, without actually wearing them, myself.
Thor deffo a DD tho
My godly pecs would certainly fit, but they deserve to be free. 😂
Showing off them lightning nips
Yes. But some women will insist I'm wrong about it anyway, because a lot of women don't even understand bra sizes.
I'm no expert either honestly
There's this one lady on here, in her mid thirties and usually anonymous, constantly trying to tell other girls how they're wrong about their bra size and how "a D is actually small, a B is actually big," and so on. I'm not even female and I find her annoying.
The abrathatfits lass?
Not even a teeny tiny bit
Most? I feel like it’s unfair to generalize, I’m sure there are guy who do and guys who don’t.
Contrary to popular belief, I'm pretty sure most people understand bra sizes.
It's straightforward stuff.
They really don’t , they always say the number like it’s really important 😂
The number is so important though!
@Bridgerton622 guys think the number is boob size!!
Well, it does determine how big your boobs are. For example a 40DD is much bigger than a 32DD.
I'm completely oblivious to what sizes are women's breasts. I guess it's just because it's not important to me.
I know that the further down the alphabet doesn't mean they are bigger. I think lots of guys are under the perception that the further the letter, the larger the tits. I just go off visual and saw the cup size of the bra whenever women I have been with were topless.
Should they if they have enlarged breasts themselves?
to some degree but to be honest it doesn't matter to me as im not the one getting fitted for a bra... i just look and thats enough ;)
I'll take the slightly wholesome compliment and be done with it :P
Yes most of us do including me. You can test if you want?
Which one is bigger... 12 DDD or 14 E?
@wittymilf Logically the letter suggests a bigger size, but it usually it depends on brands or the makers. For some brands DD is E and for some DDD is E or F. Considering thatDDD usually represents F cup size, 12DDD and 14E are ideally of the same size and what they call usually sister sizes.
No, but it's not something I need to understand either. Not important lol
There was a GaGer girl who used to be active here named @CheerGirl38139 who was very very good at explaining how bra sizes work. She would get really frustrated by all the guys (and even girls) who would refer to a C cup, for example, as if that had any valid meaning about breast volume in the absence of an accompanying band size. She explained sister sizes.
What happened to her, just left? She was super active on here for a long time
I don't know. It's certainly been a long while since she was active.
is it not simply Cup Size and Back Size? if so I don't see any confusion over here.
Sure. The letters refer to cup size and the numbers refer to the measurement of the band
Unless he's a lingerie salesman, I seriously doubt that any guy has any useful knowledge concerning bra sizes: he's only interested in their contents.
Nope
More or less yeah.
The band size usually is the measurement of how wide in circumference her torso is.
Kind of like the measurement a tailor does on us guys when we buy a suit
And the cup size is obviously the measurement of the actual tits
