What does band size have to do with boob size?
You can't judge boob size by bras because bras aren't fitted properly.

Cup size is supposed to be based on the difference between bust and under-bust measurements.
If a girl has a 34" bust and 28" under-bust, the difference is 6". That's a medium-size bust.
1" diff = A cup (flat)
2" = B (very small)
3" = C (small)
4" = D (not large)
5" = DD (medium)
6" = DDD (medium)
7" = F (impressive)
8" = G (quite impressive but not giant)
And so on (in U. S. sizing).

The band is supposed to fit the under-bust.

So in the example I gave, the girl should wear a 28DDD.

If they fit her with a larger band, the cup size would decrease by the number of inches added to the band. And bands come in 2" increments.

So if she wore a 30" band, her cup size would be D.
If she wore a 32" band, her cups size would be B.

It is common for women to be recommended bands that are 4 or more inches too large. You even see examples of women wearing bands that are larger than her bust measurement.

I've looked up actresses measurements. One might have 35" bust, 25" waist, and 36" hips. Under-bust is typically no more than 4" wider than a woman's waist. So that actress probably has a 28" or 29" under-bust measurement. She should wear a 30DD bra. But her bra size is listed as 36B. What the actual fuck? That size makes no sense at all.

That's why you see actresses with really nice boobs and their bras are never larger than a C cup. And that's how people got the mis-impression that B is medium, C is large, D is bodacious, and DD is ginormous. It's complete bullshit.

I've had girlfriends with the most luscious, perky boobs who said they wore C cups. But I know for a fact that their bust was at least 6" larger than their under-bust.

However, if a girl said her bra was 28DDD or F, people would assume that her tits were fake or hung down to her navel. And that's simply not the case. That would be the proper size for normal, medium-size breasts.

Instead, they wear a 32 or 34B or C because bra fitters are all fucked up.

I understand it's because bra manufacturers want to limit the number of cup sizes. It's cheaper to make different size bands than different size cups. And again, because of this practice, there is a stigma against wearing DD, DDD, F or G cups.

Do your own measurement and tell me I'm wrong.

Some guys are into huge boobs. I would say those guys are in the minority from my experience though.

I honestly tend to prefer petite girls with small/average sized boobs (as long as they aren't flat and boyish looking. Boob size usually reflects the weight of a girl (not always), but usually fatter girls have bigger boobs.
