I’m 29, and I have been friends with this guy for almost a year. Initially, we had a plan to have sex. When the time came, he said he wasn’t sure about it because I’m a virgin and I might get attached. Is it really a problem having sex with a virgin?

Eh, numerous reasons.. I’m just now starting to break out and do things I want to do. I was always the shy girl.. stood in the back to not be seen. I wasn’t comfortable enough with the few I’ve gotten to know to do it.
When I hear of a woman being a virgin this long, what goes through my mind is that she's saving it for marriage or it's because she hasn't met any guy yet in which there is mutual attraction or connection.
When you say always the shy girl, that is shocking sense being shy won't really affect a woman's chances of meeting someone then for a guy, since women are not expected to do the pursuing
Lol yea I’m pretty shy and self conscious. I was in my early 20s and was so scared to go further then making out I just left. Literally stopped kissing the dude and said I should go. And I’ve went through a time of wanting to wait until marriage as well.
