Yes and no, I rather date someone who shares a similar culture to the one I was raised it. That tends to lean towards 1 race but if the guy was of another race, it wouldn't make any difference. It's like a girl saying she wants to date a British guy. Most Brits are white so she is probably going to be more inclined/likely to date a white guy. Does it matter if the guy was darker or Asian? No, as long as the guy was British or raised that way. Does that makes sense?

Yes that makes perfect sense. I went to a forign country to meet a girl there. I was learning the language. We fail to understand that, I would guess, 90% of what we say are colloquial or slang expressions based on cultural understanding. Being from the same background make a massive difference in understanding each other.

It's quite possible to have specific preferences even if you date all races and ethnicities since we date individuals, not an entire group.

It's really just whoever is attractive and who I have a good connection/chemistry with. So long as that's the case then race doesn't really matter.
