9 38I didn't vote because it is not relevant. Ignoring same couple sex and assuming an equal number of men and women, the average (mean) number of sexual partners for men and women are identical. It is impossible to be otherwise. However, there can be a difference in the median but it is not likely that the difference between the mean and median is significant.
It is relevant because people treat genders differently and have different expectations from them. There are differences between genders too. I think you are looking at it from a different angle.
