For the record, I'm a 24-year-old guy who hasn't had sex yet. I used to suffer no shame over this, but now that I'm closing in on my mid-twenties, there have been some insecurities driven mostly by depiction of virgins my age, the fact that a lot of girls prefer experience (which they have every right to, and I'm turned on by, for some reason), jokes in the places I least expect them, and lots of other factors. Like any humiliation fetish, I'm internalizing my insecurities. The "hottest" thing about it is that the fetish has some truth to it: most girls do prefer confident guys who make them feel feminine and safe and feel like can protect them. I'm extremely aroused just writing that. Nothing abnormal. Lot of sub beta guys are like this but too ashamed to admit it. At least you know your stance and don't annoy the alphas. There's some marginal truth to it that if a guy is too soft, a girls gonna leave him for an actual man. But like you said, the alpha/beta thing is mostly just fetish based and not true for everyone. It's not unhealthy. It's not even that uncommon.
You're not inferior or a "beta" and you're right for not believing in bs like "nice guys" and "alpha males", and that doesn't contradict you being attracted to playing into one of those fake roles anyway, a lot of fetishes are like that.
If it did color your reality, if you did genuinely believe that you're worthless and no women can ever like you, that's when it becomes unhealthy.
