@rachel776 well like you said they are physically able to starting at age 12, when they start having periods and start developing eggs, that's nature's way of telling them that they are ready to have sex! So that would be the right age!

There’s a difference between being physically able and being ready. They should be ready for the possibility of pregnancy, no matter how slim the chance. (abortion is evil) Which by the way is one reason to wait until after marriage.

Well, I would hope that the parent (s) or guardian (s) of these adolescents teach them safe sex and the consequences of their life choices , so they are able to make good decisions. Ultimately, many will have intercourse before they're of the age of maturity (depending on country and state).
