Why is there such a stigma around girls and female masturbating in general? Yes, when I was a teen, I masturbated. Why is it commonly assumed that guys are always horny while girls almost never do it?

There is no stigma. If a girl likes to masturbate it is totally fine. Who told you that it is bad?

I remb. back in junior high during sex ed. the female teacher said over 80% of male masturbate, but only 50% of female do when they reach their teenage years.
i guess in a way, it's just how human behave.
Because other women judge girls and tell them it’s not ladylike to be openly sexual. Girls are labeled as sluts and whores behaving the same way as men who are labeled as studs.
Oh I know that girls can be horny too... nothing like a woman flicking the bean and not ashamed to say that they do...
I can't fathom thinking girls don't get horny, as for the stigma towards female masturbation- who knows, I don't see it nearly as much as I did when I was a teen.
Girls are raised not to talk about subjects like this, because they are told they will be viewed as sluts and unladylike behavior. Being horny is as natural as breathing fresh air.
Women are incapable of such lewd acts.

I dont think that I just assume girls dont talk about it to friends like guys do cuz most feel more ashamed of it when it she be more open taught by parents that ifs ok an your not weird

Because it is ingrained in our society from old tradition that a man will always court the lady while the lady must look enticing, therefore creating that stigma.

We are all humans and girls have that need too , just like the guys they relieve stress and sexual frustration by masturbation. No shame in it if a girl does it

There is no supposed "Stigma" between Girls and Guys from about 13 years old till the present. Some Girls literally cannot Sexually Satisfy Me and I don't mean in Perverted Way
