Girls do you feel like you're being "Eye Raped"?

The gym I go to handed each member a flyer on a type of sexual harassment they termed "eye rape". They described basically guys ogling the female members. I fully understand that it's not polite to stare but I have a gripe too. If girls don't want us to stare then why wear tights/yoga pants or worse yet those tiny micro shorts. They look like a second skin! To me and a lot of friends they are sexier than a girl in a bikini or their underwear. I mean they make us guys go crazy! So why wear that stuff if you don't want us to stare. Especially the micro shorts - are they that comfy?

  • I love doing it

    • no its rude, aren't you there to workout or ogle?

    • how are your feelings stronger?

    • by staying focused on what you went there to do. :P

    • Show All
  • I understand that guys stare. Its impossible not to, even as a girl. Some chicks really dress very provocative there.

  • We wear them because they are so comfortable, but honestly I don't care if a guy is looking at me as long as they don't try anything

    • Every guy in the gym's jaw is probably on the ground!

  • To be fair men should be lowered their gaze and controls own emotions.

Female has right wear whatever and however love to wear, it's their basic fundamental rights, so right to exercise and express.

  • stare but do it discreetly that won't cause discomfort
i like to look at eye candies too :)

  • Yes everyday , even though i dont wear revealing clothes. .

  • I walk around and expose big stacks of money, but its not my fault if I get robbed because I have a right to walk around exposing big stacks of money.

  • It's flattering to be stared at by a guy. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, like when the guy is socially retarded and doesn't realize that there is a time limit to a 'glance' before it becomes just plain out creepy and unnacceptable. Except for my guy, he can stare at me as long as he wants of course. The other thing is being able to read people's eyes. Most guys I can tell are just taking an inoccent look, but if you have malice in your heart, I can see it in your eyes, I can recognize you.

  • I completely agree- they're asking for it. They just don't have any sense of self worth when they do that. I always wonder whether they actually care that they have half their ass out in public and then they have the audacity to get upset at guys.

    • I always thought that it was hypocritical for girl that is dressing sexy to get mad a guys for being turned on

    • In the case of a girl dressing in a way certified to turn men on I dont think that stares would bother her. In her case, being sexually molested, groped, somebody saying indecent things OUT LOUD certainly would.

  • I'm tired of hearing women say, "Because they are comfortable wah wah..." - That argument is such BS and so juvenile! If we all walked around naked that would be comfortable too but we DON'T! and do you know WHYYY, ladies? BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE TOTALLY FCKING INAPPROPRIATE !! For the love of GOD, WOMEN, PUT SOME FCKING CLOTHES ON... especially at the gym.
I wear sweat pants and t-shirts to the gym and they are also comfortable.

    • Sexy clothing= stares. Sexy clothing =/= touching, vulgar remarks, actual rape, etc.

    • Is that how you feel? that's not how i feel or what i said so

    • even if it was legal for women to be naked in public men should still control themselves. I just think most women complain about sht that they also want. If you don't want a man to look at your boobs, cover them up, if you don't want him to look at your ass, stop wearing nylon stockings in public #accountability

  • Geez...seriously? Grow up, girls! Hey, if a guy stare at you, that's a compliment. Imagine no one would "eye-rape" you if you're some old fat lady.

  • a flyer telling you what you can't do? what did this world turn into... if i want to stare or look at a girl because she's almost naked in the gym im god damn going to. who are to say whats "right" or "wrong"? of course some would get offended but whose problem is it then? theirs or yours? its just nature that males do that. some might even think that you're a creep but why would they even care? its not like stalking. girls who get butthurt for males looking, give me a break, im just following nature. just my take on it as a guy
