Girls, I am struggling to find out what does horny/sexual desire/sexual urge mean for women? What do you mean when you say the word Horny?

Simple question what is sexual urge/sexual urge to women? Is it sexual desire in absence of sexual desire? What is sexual? Most women on reddit say sexual urge, horny, sexual desire means urge for orgasm it’s not urge for sex. Here I can't imagine orgasm itself without any sexual act. How would sexual desire happen without any sexual thoughts?

Like saying, for women horny means urge for orgasm. Women don’t feel urge to have sex with men.

How do you imagine urge for orgasm? If you say urge for sex it means you are thinking/imagining hot men, sex, act of sex.

But how would you imagine urge for orgasm itself? Orgasm is not an act it is a result.

So, is it safe to say women don't have sexual urge for men, they have sexual urge for orgasm. Hu?

Like saying mind is blank. No thoughts, no sexual thoughts but extremely horny.

Girls say horny means desire to orgasm. It's not subjective feeling of wanting to engage in sex. Single girl can get horny but sexual desire is totally absent here.

1) chemical flowing in the mind and body that speed up blood flow, raise sexual awareness, cause secretion of liquid in her vgina, may make her breasts hard, ... , ultimately make her want a penis in he vagina.

2) being horny not necessarily lead her to have sex.

She may crave companionship, want to hear words of assurance, desires to be noticed not just as a owner of a vagina, but a woman to love and cherish.

(Yes, sub consciously she wants to have sex, even get pregnant; but her longing for a secured relationship surpasses that.)

3) being horny may also mean the physical desire for intimacy.

After this thought, she will work out approaches to ensure her welfare and her child's welfare are taken cared of if she were to become pregnant.

Thus mentally, she is horny. But outwardly she may look poise and "friendship" is "good enough" for her.

These are mere instincts that protects her during the most vulnerable part of her life: pregnancy.

Yes, the above are my personal definition of being "horny" for a woman.

I am at a loss with your question because you are confusing at best.

I personally don't get "horny", thus to me, this word has no real meaning. I cannot associate it with anything. Like you state, hunger is a physiological state when your body requires food to sustain its vital functions.

Sex has no particular function other than to procreate and therefore, is not a basic need like sleeping, eating or drinking and shelter. Once can perfectly live an entire life without being horny, having sexual needs or urges whereas you die if you don't have the 4 main components of life. All the rest is basically luxury.

Being sexual means being conditioned by the environment or society but except for procreation, has no purpose in life.

You're all over the place lol. Women get sexual urges just like men do. Exactly what makes women horny and in the mood is subjective because every women is different. What makes one woman hot and bothered could not even phase another. At the end of the day, horny is horny.
