Looking at your age there could be many reasons
Attention- they may think being bi will get them more guys attention
Media, sexual exploitation/ bi curious, fashion, or they could just be confused and labelling themselves what they think is the most fluid sexuality coz society loves putting labels on each other and putting us all in boxes
