Guys, if you had the opportunity to be on a male birth control, would you?

This can apply to many different types. The pill, a patch, vasectomy (reversible), etc. I often wish some of that pressure could be lifted off my shoulders. I have an IUD but beforehand, I CONSTANTLY worried about getting pregnant after having sex. I would worry so much that I'd actually make my period late, buy $100 worth of pregnancy tests, then once my period finally came, it felt like a velociraptor was tearing my insides apart.

Anyways, given the chance, would you?

  • If it were proven effective and safe yes. Preferably an implant so i didn't have to think about it.

  • I got a vasectomy a few months ago.

    • Those do not always work sadly. My friend had one and it came undone by itself.

  • Yes a 1000 times yes..
If successful male birth control pills existed..
I would have committed already for a relationship long time ago

  • I'd already be using it so would majority of men. We rather have control over our reproductive systems. Its not women who are fearful of getting pregnant we are fearful of getting them pregnant too. Of course women face far higher consequences nonetheless we would have the opportunity to minimize if not completely eliminate such scenario.

  • but... how could women trap men with babies then? lol more women said no than yes. :D

Guys, if you had the opportunity to be on a male birth control, would you?
  • Definitely. To be able to have control of it, I'm down.

    • Smart man

  • If i would anticapate a period of casual sex perhaps

  • Sure if it worked and was temporary and I was sexually active.

  • When I have the power to have sex on command I'll think about it.

Until then it's completely unnecessary. I mean we already have condoms.

    • Wait until you are done with babies, then have it done, the wife comes off the pill, more natural vaginal fluid, and the BEST is when she ovulates naturally. So when on holiday, quietly go for a quicky, no condoms required. Long periods of being on the pill seem to increase the chances of breast cancer.

  • Not me, id help pay for any contraceptive she wanted to use though. I plan on finding a girl i want a family with so if she wants to bare back and pull out im ok with that too

  • Male birth controll can lead to suicidal thoughts, its some pretty severe stuff. I'd just use a condom.

  • Ja. Vasectomy ❤️️😀

  • My cousin is on her way home from vacation and I am going to meet her just before she goes home and I am going to shootit the biggest load ever guaranteed

    • 😳😳😳

  • I mean... a condom Is a type of birth control

  • No because guys can't get pregnant.

    • So you won't wear condoms either?

    • Your picture is that of a bunch of pills. And no, my wife and I are married so we don't need condoms.

    • Your question was also in reference to male birth control, which doesn't exist. As opposed to regular birth control.

  • Totally. Condoms suck. If I could take a pill and be temporarily sterile thatd be great lol.

  • Probably not a vasectomy, but I would if it was just taking some pills or using a patch.

    • You are close to 40, are you still prepared to have children, if a vasectomy is the answer. I was 32, best choice I ever made, have not used condoms since.

    • Coward, take responsibility for your part in sex

    • I do already. I use a condom.

  • I'd just get snipped. I don't want kids anyway.

  • Yes without a doubt, but the question that follows is "Would women believe a man if he said he was on birth control?"
Personally I wouldn't say I was on male birth control AND I'd STILL USE A CONDOM.

  • I always make sure that I have condoms if I plan to have sex, and if I don't have any at hand, I simply refuse. It's not that hard to say no to sex.
There are more benefits than just protection when it comes to female birth control which wouldn't really be the case for men.
