I am on the pill and I take it religiously at the same time. My boyfriend and I are discussing forgoing condoms. Not concerned about STDs. Have you ever had your pill fail while even taking it at the same time? What are your opinions?

I have heard of people still getting pregnant while on the pill. An IUD is very effective, so is an implant.

Limit your drinking and be aware certain medications like antibiotics screw up the poll's effectiveness. Ask your pharmacist

My sister in law got pregnant on a pill, I don't know was she doing it correctly, obviously it was my brother doing it to her...

Yes, im a father because of the pill not working.
But...
She had been taking medication for an infection and even though she had been off it for a week it apparently stopped the pill from working. Before that we had been having sex 5 times a week for 5yrs with no problems.
So I think you can trust the pill, but be careful to check with the Dr if you have to take any other meds.

In reality, I think just forget about the condoms. If you trust him then you dont need them as you won't have to worry about std's. Its so much better to be able to cuddle up in bed and start making love without thinking about condoms and it just feels so much better. Its one of the many advantages of sex with a steady partner over one night stands.
