#2 I would have to have a conversation with the kid who told me "I was only doing what i thought i saw you doing to each other."

My kid is 11 right now and we have a strict rule no phone until he can pay for one. So we about 5 more years before that. But if it was to happen I’d whip his ass and then talk with him about it

This happened to me... though my stepdaughter was 13...
We were pissed obviously took her phone etc... then we found out he was 18 and had been sending her nude pics... using her phone i was able to make contact with his mother and went over and showed her the message and pics... he was kicked out... he I guess moved in with his dad across the country. last i herd he knocked up two 2-14y olds... and the police were involved

Take away their phone and give them a harsh talking to. And if they answer that, then say "Only when you're 21 and older.". Then I'd hope they think about how stupid it was over the 9 years I give them and they'll never do it.

My grandma is the coolest and she said that the internet has made all of the past couple generations more open about sharing. Things are a lot different now.

1) how would I know this? Did you ask what they were doing and they told you? Myself, I probably wouldn't have asked? I also wouldn't just "walk in" without knocking or anything (about respecting their privacy, regardless of age).

I think I'd "react" by having a talk with them (calmy - not getting angry or "punishing them"), about the dangers of sending nudes (especially for a girl), and also that they are underage.
