I think my sisters been raped?

okay, this is not something that you want hear about on the first day on the new year. but yes. i think my sisters been raped and are too scared to talk about it. it started yesterday on new years eve. we headed out for some fireworks and this dude comes stumbling around drunk like hell and is staring at my sister like there's no tomorrow. my sister looks back at him at the same way and tells me ''thats the guy that attacked me at school..'' and sins i didn't even know she had been attacked at her school i confused asked her ''what?'' and she was just like ''yeah'' and they kept on glaring at eachother. and i then asked her ''so?'' trying to understand more of what she was going on about. and she just... she was devestated but kept on like nothing happend. today, when i woke up i remeberd what she said and i panicked!!! i asked her about what she said too me yesterday and she just said ''no one listend yesterday when i was trying to talk about it, why would it matter if i spoke about it now?'' i was just taken back by what she said and i told her that if she ever wanted to talk with me about something (i meant this especiall subject about this guy) i was there for her to listen to what she had to say. she looked at me weirdly and hasn't spooken to me for the entire day and has ignored me making no knowledge of my exstinstans. first of all i feel fucking horrible cause she said she tried speaking about this with us earlier but no one listened to her. i always try to be there for people but i haven't noticed something happend my own fucking sister? but the first time i ever even heard about this was on new years eve yesterday.

Second of all, im so worried I've been crying most part of this day. i know something has happend to her but she's just acting it off like nothing and dosent want to talk about it anymore cause she thinks no one is listening. i didn't know, i didn't know something had happend, i didn't realise she was trying to talk about it and now im like air to her. What the hell do i do? I've talked with our older sister and im thinking of going to her tomorrow to talk about what happend so we can sit down

  • Sad but you can do nothing if your sister does not want help. You are blaming yourself and do not have a good reason without information.

    Calm down. Find out the guys name and take it from there. Your sister not responding at the time it happened means the chance of winning is low. But she can give a statement to police because he will do it again to another woman and with the information she will be the nail in his coffin. Plan your apporoach there is one thing for sure, if he is stupid and raped her, more than likely his ego will want to do it again.

    • Get your sisters and others together and get the info from your sister. There is more power in being calm because he will never see you coming if it should come to that. You really want the police involved because the punishment will last a life time. Time is always on your side. you can do little things like ask people you do know who he is and put him in play. I know if someone messed with my family member that would have been the last woman he touched. He would have woke up less than a man. You being angry steals power from you. You will find and receive justice. Have faith.

  • Tell her that you love her and are concerned. Tell her you are going to give her a little space, but you are ready to listen anytime she wants to talk about this. And yes maybe you and your other sister should talk to this one together. Just be gentle, she is probably in shock and has been dealing with this for a while. She is closed and very very hurt.

  • First of all please calm down. If you come up to her upset, she'll pick it up and be upset really fast too. You really don't want to do that.

    You'll also have to tell your sister that it's important for you to know if she's been raped by that guy. Try looking into her eyes and ask her while still looking into her eyes. If she confirms that, you need to take her to a doctor (to examine her and also to secure evidence from her loin to be used in the prosecution later on) and file a report with the police. This will ensue that an investigation will start and hopefully the bastard will be brought to justice. It's also important to take her to a doctor fast, because the evidence deteriorates rather quickly (especially if she has showered down, cleaned herself etc.) and makes gathering compelling evidence harder.
    I know that this sounds like a lot and hard to do with such a burden at hand, but I think it's really important for the well-being of your sister.

    Okay so this drunk guy has apparently assulted your sister so that is an offence so he has committed a crime and secondly if this is true which I really hope it isn't but if he has raped her you need to get her to talk and get the police involved because that is an abomination of a man and he needs locking up so get her to speak its critical that she tells you because this can't go on
