I can't speak for others, but the loss of my virginity had a very profound effect on me. A massive effect. Once you lose your virginity, it's gone, never to be seen again. It changes a person.

Positive things can be said about being on either side of that life-changing event.

No. I don't think so. There's not any "must do" age to lose your virginity, as far as I can see. Reasons for not losing it can vary a lot, but I think this is something each person should decide for themselves when the time seems right.
