  • I don't really believe in sending or receiving nudes (unless they're for medical purposes) because I've seen far too many people have their lives ruined by partners who they broke up with later on but had sent their nudes to before, who'd then go on to spread them with their friends and whatnot.

    But, if I ever do receive an uncalled for nude from my girlfriend, I don't mind them because I'd never disclose their privacy to someone else ever, but I usually delete them afterwards because you never know when a friend of yours, your parent or your sibling may be using your phone and they accidentally come across your gallery and find the horrors for themselves.

    • ah but you really have next to full control over the "what if someone uses my phone" part. this kind of privacy is one reason why i almost never let others use my phone. on top of that you can lock such medias away on your phone as all the modern ones come default with password/lockable media vaults.

    • @magiusX26 if you still have your parents, then you probably know you can't simply just "never let them use your phone" or just straight up refuse them using your phone just so you want to. Where I come from, you cannot even dream about saying no to the two people who birthed you and are responsible for bringing you up to the man you are now. Even if you're an adult. As for thr lockable media vaults part, yes, that's one thing you can consider, but then again, if the nudes were sent like say, via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger or something, you can't exactly hide those things unless you have your notifications off, because they pop right there. And besides, me wanting to put extra security on my phone just so I can secure a bunch of risque photos of my S/O doesn't seem worth the trouble if I'm probably never going to go back and revisit them anyways when they're already right there with me.

    • parents long dead, i always keep notifications off on almost every app. as for the implied respect thing about the parents, thats a 2 way street (aside from the culture you come from) so if respect was being observed, they eould not look through my phone yet we know many parents (people in general) would look through (to me) negating the respect factor being a reason to allow them to use my phone.

  • I hate receiving nudes, it makes me feel guilty, thing is I never ask for nudes but I've had rare situations that even tho I've clarified that not only do I not do it, I don't wanna recieve them either, I end up receiving them anyways, I'm guessing these girls have high sex drive or they they don't care, but either ways I always end up feeling guilty because it makes me feel dirty, I got that conscious telling me "you dirty perverted pig bastard looking at them damn nudes" 😂

    • I never liked the whole nudes thing cause it's always going to be online once you send it, that along with guilt and even my partner, I can just have sex with my partner, I don't see why nudes are necessary mostly with a partner
