in my personal experience, ex's are the worst friends with benefits. I could write entire paragraphs about why this is a bad idea but then I will be here for hours. I will just say that from what you posted, it sounds as if you are living in the past and or are afraid of being intimate with someone new. I believe it would be best for you to move on with your life and look for new potential suitors for yourself.
