  • If neither of you is supersized and you like to sleep spooned together every night, a double bed is enough. But a queen size bed is usually much more comfortable for most couples. Remember that a queen size bed is more expensive AND it also requires queen size sheets, covers, blankets, and comforters, but one you have made those purchases, they will last for many years.

  • I thought double beds were being phased out since 2022 or at least they were around here last year, and nowadays all I see are King and Queen and Single bed options, and the larger sizes.
Nothing in between like a Double bed anymore which i miss, but then, those are the times 😞😬

  • Technically yes. But I'm not willingly downgrading my king bed unless there's no other option!

  • Not for me. My wife and I have a king. That way we can have lots of room for sex. But when it's bedtime, we have space to ourselves. I don't like to be confined when I sleep and being touched makes me uncomfortable and makes it hard to sleep. I do like sleeping in the same bed. We can cuddle if we want to.

  • Eh. Get a Queen at the smallest. If you want to go big, get a California King - the largest size commercially available (unless you get a custom bed frame made)

  • Too tight…queen minimum!

  • No way.

The same floor and the same side of the house are too close together.
