Is a sex change biologically impossible?

“’Sex change’ is biologically impossible. People who undergo sex-reassignment surgery do not change from men to women or vice versa. Rather, they become feminized men or masculinized women." - Dr. Paul R. McHugh
Is a sex change biologically impossible?

"The cold biological truth is that sex changes are impossible. Every single cell of the human body remains coded with one's birth gender for life. Intersex ambiguities can occur, but they are developmental anomalies that represent a tiny proportion of all human births." - Camille Paglia

  • Sex is determined entirely by chromosomal composition within nearly every cell of the body and cannot be changed... yet

  • Depends on what you define as a 'sex change.' If it is the changing of chromosomes, then yes it's impossible.

  • Yes, a sex change is impossible

  • Yes its impossible you are a man born with a dick so no matter how you do you are still a man. You are a woman born with vagina and no matter how you do you are still a woman

Putting feathers on you doesn't make you a bird

All this tran stuff is just shit

  • Genetically speaking it is currently impossible, but a lot of this is about gender identity not genetics, body or even sexual orientation

  • Yes, a sex change is impossible

  • Yes. That's why the official term is not sex-change as it is so often called but gender reassignment surgery. I'm pretty sure even most trans people are very aware of their biological sex.

  • Its a fetish out of control.

  • agreed

  • Sex change beyond mere aesthetic immitation is impossible for now. It might not be impossible in the future.

  • I'm a woman

  • Yes, a sex change is impossible

  • I agree with the analogy...

  • Yes its possible I was a dinosaur before I had a sex change to a toilet and then a used car and finally me

  • It's impossible to change chromosomes

  • Women have wombs, men don't. No surgery will allow a man to have a fully functioning womb and a transgender woman won't be able to carry her own baby. So it's biologically impossible for that to happen. Though they can change their appearance enough to look like a man/woman but that's as far as it'll go.

    • Unfortunately money will always win that battle they are already been working transplants of wombs into transgendered people. Also with your word any woman who has hey hysterectomy is no longer a woman
