Attitudes towards sex continue to get more liberal. Once giving a blowjob was special or taboo but now everyone does it pretty much every time they have sex without thinking. It's normal and expected. Is anal the same now? Is it just part of sex and nothing usual, unexpected, or taboo? It feels like it is now.
I don't like anal sex at all and have only ever attempted it once because the girl I was with at the time liked it. I basically put it in and did a few slow thrusts before I was like yeah I can't do this, cleaned myself off then went right back to some good old fashioned vaginal😁 My ex at the time was okay with me not doing anal because she knew she would always get a ton of oral anyways👅 The inside of an ass just seems the opposite of anything sexy or sexual to me. I mean if I was with someone that wanted it super badly and absolutely loved it I would do it for them but only after a thorough enema I'm talking like a high colonic so that any and absolutely all waste material is gone and no bad odor either. Other than that the closest I get to anal is watching porn of it and when I get some drinks in me I've been known to do a little bit of rimming just to spice things up during oral lol I don't know what it is but all my life I've felt like the ass is a sewer, it's where 💩 comes out and why would I want to have sex with an ass when there's a perfectly good vagina literally right there. I mean for me it's a no brainer, sex with a dirty, smelly, bacteria filled ass or sex with a delicious, warm, wet vagina 🤤 So for me, no anal is not normal and should not be expected, but that's just my opinion.

I think you're right about the evolution of attitudes toward some sexual acts. Anal sex is certainly mainstream now, and much more accepted than it used to be.
Another thing that has changed with respect to anal sex is the idea that women do not receive pleasure from it, and those who do it are only doing it to please their man. That is so not true.
I mean I know it's not for everyone and some women don't like it, usually because they've had a bad experience with it or they just think it's gross, but there are a lot of us ladies who do genuinely enjoy anal sex and get a lot of pleasure out of it. The feeling of being filled back there is very nice but it's the orgasms I have during anal that make it amazing for me.
Is it expected? Not for some. But most of my friends do it and expect it. There are a few who hate the idea and that's ok, but for most I think it's just a normal part of sex now.

@Guardian45 For me personally, anal orgasms are better. They are stronger and there is an add layer of sensation that is hard to explain. That's not to say anal sex is better than vaginal sex. I enjoy vaginal a bit more most of the time. It's more chill and I can go forever. Not so much with anal. I start to get sore after a while and I can't take it as rough that way. But the orgasms in particular are stronger during anal. So when we do it it's usually the last thing and he finishes there.
That is what I suspected based on my own experience. Women who prefer it, love it.

It is hard to say with young people nowadays. Sadly, they have grown up with porn everywhere. Guys grow up thinking that porn is normal sex, when it is most definitely not.
