Is it normal for there not to be much cum during the third round?

We hadn't seen each other in a few days and had sex 3 times in one night when we saw each other again. The first time there was quite a bit that came back out of me when he finished. Then like 3 hours later, we did it again and this time there wasn't as much that cane out, but it was enough that I could feel. Then like 30 minutes after that, he wanted sex again. It was great, he was moaning in my ear that time and it sounded like he was having a great time. But this time when he pulled out, there was barely anything that came out of me. There was a tiny bit of some clear stretchy discharge but I don't know if that was mine or his. Did he actually cum the third time? It definitely sounded like he came and he also said that he did. I understand that he was probably empty at that point, but if he came shouldn't there have been at least a little cum? Or was that clear, stretchy stuff his cum?

  • Yes, this is normal. Semen is produced and stored by the prostate gland, but the prostate can only "manufacture" semen at a certain speed (and things like hormone levels and hydration levels affect this), and an ejaculation will empty out the "storage tank" pretty significantly. A second ejaculation in a couple of hours will often empty out (or nearly empty out) the rest of the "tank" and it can take 24-48 hours to fully replenish the "tank" to full again. Successive orgasms within a short time will produce less and less semen, so that by the 3rd or 4th, there's going to be very little semen left - usually just what little the prostate has very recently produced.

    There are rare men who have prostates that can produce semen faster or hold more of it, but these are rare - as are the opposite: men who need several days to "refill" their "tank." So, yes, as always, a few outliers exist, but what I wrote above is typical for the majority of men.

  • Yes that's normal. There's only so much semen in a guy, and ejaculation uses it up. It takes the body a while to create new semen. It's even possible to use up all the semen and have a dry ejaculation... the guy cums, his nervous system goes into overdrive, but no semen cums out.
