Popular implies that a lot of people do it, think it, believe it.
It is not a popular thing in society, as most men do not have these fantasies. Don't get confused by seeing the rising number of men saying that it appeals to them, simply because you're seeing it happen more these days. There have always been sexual desires like this in men and women, but it's slowly becoming more acceptable to discuss. That, or people just don't care what others think anyway and are talking about it.
And not to mention that the most you'll see this happening occurs on the internet. The internet is a very easy for many people of the same cut to gather in one place for a common theme. I feel that this might be skewing your idea on this topic pretty strongly. A heterosexual does not have these thoughts, otherwise they would not be heterosexual but instead, bi-curious/bisexual/gay.
So I think that's what you're really aiming to ask?0 1 0 0I have my guess at how popular a fantasy this is, just as I've asked you all to guess how popular it is. I try not to let my own guesses interfere with the question, or at least provide space for people to look past my guess when answering. I've offered comments to answers on here because - and I could be wrong about this - I perceived answers being focused on the respondents own values & beliefs, versus perceptions of other people and this fantasy. (to be continued...)
In that case, it is a minority of the overall population, which doesn't make it "popular" by any stretch.
(Continued) It's tricky because based on comments, this fantasy for some means that the person having it is by default not a heterosexual. I want to point out that we are talking about a fantasy - not the one dominant fantasy a person has, not what they are turned on by - just a fantasy. But if a persons definition of heterosexuality means a person can never have the fantasy, then that presents difficulties. Maybe I could of said "a person who considers themselves a heterosexual." Don't know.
For people that 'claim' to be heterosexual, I'd go with C. D at the very least. I highly doubt it's E. I think it's higher than most people think or want to believe. There are a lot of down low people out there.

Nope, a heterosexual by definition won't think about sexual acts with their own gender and would normally be repulsed by it. If you think you are hetero yet fantasise about having sex with your own gender; you are most likely bi but don't realize it. I had those "fantasies" before I realized that I was actually bi and that I was just making up excuses by saying it was just a fantasy.
0 3 1 0Thanks for answering. I'm going to update the question, and clarify that I'm asking about people that "consider themselves to be heterosexual at the time."
I wouldn't think it's a common fantasy, but I'm sure a lot of people have thought about it, probably more than those who admit to it.
1 2 0 0Yes this spite what other people say both men and women have homosexual fantasies not all but a few do
1 2 0 1I don't. Not even in the context of a mmf 3some, which I would never do anyway.
Everyone different not all heterosexual males and females have this fantasy but some of them do
It isn't relevant whether you do, or not. The question is: how many men (or women) do you believe have this fantasy? And we're talking about a fantasy only - not actually doing it. If it matters, whether you believe it is right or wrong is not the question.

0 8For me, it's one of my biggest fantasies. It began many years ago when an ex girlfriend brought it up, and now I can't stop thinking about it. It's so naughty, kinky and taboo, and that's why I love it!
I love the idea of being in a situation where I "have" to do it. For example, I'm with a couple, and that's her biggest fantasy. We then (man vs man) play a game, and we all agree that the loser "has" to give the winner a blowjob, to completion AND he HAS to swallow all his cum! If he doesn't, then he penalized for it. The penalty for not swallowing it is, he has to do it again tomorrow night. He will continue to do it nightly until he's able to swallow all of the winner's cum.
Naturally, in my fantasy, I lose. I imagine my heart is now racing, I can't believe I just lost and now I have to do the unthinkable. As I begin to suck his cock she begins to moan out load and begins to stroke my cock. Which she then begins to make comments like, "Oh, your cock is rock hard! It must be because you're sucking a cock? Why else would you be hard?" That, to me would be so humiliating, To have a hard-on (because she's stroking my cock) while I'm sucking a cock. No matter what I could possibly say, I can't convince her otherwise. Suddenly I hear the words I don't want to hear, "Oh, I'm ready to cum!" I imagine my heart would begin to beat even faster. "Oh crap! He's going to cum, right into my mouth AND I have to make him do it AND when he does, I have to continue to urge him to squirt it all right into my mouth AND, when he's finished, I'm going to have to swallow it, ALL of it!" Then, I hear the words I don't want to hear, "Oh, I'm cumming!" With that I feel his cum squirt (blast) right into my mouth! From there, I have two different fantasies, in one, I swallow all his cum, in the other, I choke and find myself spitting it out. Thus forcing her to tell me that I have to come back tomorrow night and do it again! If I swallow it, I imagine that every time the three of us get together she reminds me what I've done, how much it turned her on and she asks me to do it again. Now, I find myself having to do it every time she asks!
0 0 0 0As a heterosexual person, I have to say I've had that fantasy. It seems there's a term for people like me called "bicurious". I adore women to bits and have never felt attracted to men at all. But have to male genitalia under certain circumstances of sexual arousal plus intoxication.
Apart from the line of "as a heterosexual", I add my own input: all of us are in some way bisexual. Social factors influence very much our sexual behaviour, not that much our sexual orientation.0 0 0 0I agree with you. I don't want to hug or kiss a man, but when I think (fantasize) about it, all I see is the cock, up close. I want to know what it feels like to touch it, stroke it, tease it, to drive him crazy with the desire to cum. Then, I wonder what it would be like to see it squirt cum or to have it squirt right into my mouth. I can't help but wonder what it would be like. Plus, if a woman was there, to watch, to encourage me to "go for it" would be a huge turn on.
Also, I wonder what the taste of cum would be like. I've tried (numerous times) to eat my own, but once I cum the urge to do it diminishes. By sucking another guy's cock I would get the chance to see what it tastes like and have a hard-on at the same time. I'm pretty sure that if I was that turned on I probably would be able to swallow it. I don't know.
I guessed D. Its not common, but seems to not be as rare as you'd expect.
0 1 0 0your poll is screwed up. rather than poll for peoples' opinion on the statistics, why not just poll for the statistics?
0 0 0 0Because, as I mention I'm not looking for an answer here about the actual statistics - there are better places out there to find that out. I'm interested in peoples perceptions about how common or uncommon different fantasies are. Sorry you don't like my question. Feel free to write a better one yourself.
I was feeling snarkier last night when I wrote this comment than I do this morning. Basically, I'm interested in people's perceptions of the statistics.
I voted C - I'd put it at the high end of 30%
0 1 0 0Yeah, this question could have been phrased better(such as in your update). Anyways, in light of your update, this sort of seems more like "what amount of heterosexuals are bi-curious?" I'd vote C.
0 1 0 0Apologies for the confusion. In my view, heterosexual men and women can have homoerotic fantasies, while still being heterosexual. Differing views on what makes a person hetero, homo, or bi can obviously cause confusion.
A heterosexual is, by definition, a person who does NOT fantasize about sexual activities with the same gender. A man who fantasizes about going down on another man is either gay or bisexual.
1 4 0 0To clarify, it may not change your perspective, but I am asking about heterosexuals who despite their preference have fantasies that involve performing oral sex on another of the same gender. They don't find themselves sexually attracted to men (or women), yet they have this fantasy. Also, it needn't be anything they would ever do, or it may be something they would be repulsed by if they did. Despite this, fantasy is not equal to reality.
Fantasy describes sexuality more accurately than action. Many people in p*rn have gay sex for the money, but have no attraction to the same gender. I'd say fantasizing about a sex act is about as clear as you can get in terms of illustrating attraction. Keep in mind that a lot of non-hetero people are deeply in denial about their own sexuality due to the way they're raised, often getting married and having children before they ever come to terms with it. Self description is not always truth.
Fair enough.
I don't think it's all that common, maybe for some. I don't get turned on by it
