the USA has a very high age of consent in the world, i think registering someone as a sex offender, legal costs in court, incarceration, is a taxpayer waste of money for having sex with a 16 or 17 year old, the country is still in a recession and should look into this to cut government waste of money

I'm actually fine with the age of consent being 16, but your fervor for it is kind of ridiculous. I also think teen relationships with vastly mismatched ages tend to be manipulative and not beneficial - legal or not.

Kids certainly have sex by the age of 16 so its ludicrous to punish those who have sex with 16 year olds just because they are older than 16 especially as its only enforced on men and women dont have to register as a sex offender for the same crime. I moved to England where the age of consent is sixteen for sex and marriage and married my bride who's sixteen and pregnant with our first child, when she turns eighteen I plan to move back to the states.

Yes, I would. Although, I'd make it legal for a teen to have sex with another teen, while it's still very much illegal for a grown adult to fuck a teenager.

I dont know why The age of consent is 18 in the United States. Plenty of people here are having sex at a younger age than that and it's completely natural.
