Hi guys, just a general opinion. I am not middle eastern but supposedly look Iranian and I find that men seem to act so weird with me. Especially white men, they like seriously act so weird. Like other ethnicities do as well but maybe I interact with white guys due to my work, I find they act seriously the weirdest with comments like oh yeah Im most attracted to middle eastern girls. I'm brown and I have a few other brown girls are work but like I said I look more middle eastern, which I find is an insult to my kind meaning brown girls aren't as attractive as middle easterns. The other girls at my work are gorgeous blondes. I think they are so pretty and fit. I'm more jet black hair, medium light skin tone and grayish eyes and super petite. Really no reason to go all goo gaGA over. Instead I catch them constantly staring at my face or my boobs (barely b cups). Or they continously make eye contact or comment on my race, size and etc. I don't want to be the Centre or attention but theyl l make jokes at me or around me and then look at me to see if I laugh. So weird!!! Do men have some kiND of fetish for middle easterns? Especially white guys?

Do you know anything about the religion besides what mainstream media tells you? Sorry but ignorance and being prejudice towards a group of people shows your intolerance and makes you look bad not them. You need to distinguish between culture and religion and you can only do that with open eyes and mind; not with already biased opinion. And before you say, they do this and that. They are uneducated and very culturally driven. If you've met a middle eastern and an Indian hindu etc. You really can't tell the difference in their culture beliefs.

Well then ignorance is bliss. Anyways, from my personal experience I'd say Christians can be just as hateful. Although I won't judge a group of people based on the actions of one. Thanks for your opinion anyways.

@asker I agree on christians being just as hateful. From my experiences, all deeply religious people are hateful because they can't keep their beliefs to themselves. They have to impose them to others and refusal is greeted with hate

Aww. Depends on individuals, having dated a white guy and his parents rejecting me due to my religion. I'm less inclined to date out of my faith now. I think if a person is either not open minded enough to be with someone of different race and faith or comes from a very dominating family where there wishes matter more then they shouldn't date out of their race and religion.

Again same as above. I would recommend not judging a group of people based on the behaviour of a few. We already have so many things we ate divided by. Why not try to focus on similarities than differences? However, I agree don't date someone whose culture and religion you can't respect or be tolerant of.
Muslims neither respect nor tolerate Christianity, so why should I offer a proverbial olive branch to a group of people who would like to see me dead? Middle Eastern Christian cultures have almost ceased to exist because of their persecution at the hands of Muslims. This is why I recoil at the thought of Middle Easterners in general, because I know deep down that they don't respect *my* religion and look down on me in the most condescending and hateful way.
It's a two way street, an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Not all Muslims are like that. I've been discriminated against for my faith by my ex's parents who were christian. Its due to that why we broke up. Anyways, not all five fingers are the same so I would say not all people of same faith, race, gender etc are the same.
Moderate, tolerant muslims are a distinct minority these days. That's why Beirut went up in flames when it was once considered the Monaco of the Levant. Tehran as well used to be a vibrant city, but now it's the world's largest open-air mosque. Where's the tolerance for other cultures there? Why should the West tolerate Islam when Islam isn't willing to tolerate the West? These are questions that muslims in our societies have yet to answer, and their silence is deafening. Sentiment against muslims is growing in the West because of this, and rightly so. No one likes hypocrisy.
Again not all muslim countries are as oppressive of non Muslims as you say. Anyways they are a representation of Islam just there culture. I've seen discrimination over religion from every faith. If you show tolerance then others are bound to reciprocate. Just kindNess leads to others responding kindly to you as well.
Well, I'll remain very skeptical of muslims as long as this undeclared culture war continues. But speaking to you original question, whatever physical attraction I have for Middle Eastern women is trumped by the cultural barriers between us. Same goes for Indian girls.

I can't speak to all white men, not all men. I've never had a race fetish, but I see the trend shifting as race relations shift. Just saw some middle-eastern, hijab porn the other day. Apparently "art" imitates life?
