Sexual fantasy vs. sexual reality. . . what do you really want?

NOT one of the more common sexual fantasies!
NOT one of the more common sexual fantasies!
The subject of sexual fantasies usually grabs the attention of many users! One of the most frequent discussions I have seen on this site concerns the belief that if allegedly heterosexual women have any fantasy about lesbian sex, they they are actually either lesbian or at least bisexual. When that idea gets expressed, tempers usually get triggered.
How dare you think that!
How dare you think that!
I think that fantasy serves the purpose of giving us a safe outlet to "experience" situations without suffering the consequences. If I get mad at someone and say, "I wish you were dead!" I sometimes fantasize that the person is actually dead, I feel guilt or remorse about having wished for that, and I very quickly realize that I REALLY don't want that person to be dead.

I think it is normal to fantasize about sexual situations like having a threesome. I have never had one and it is unlikely that I ever will but I am also curious about how threesome participants manage jealousy, and I am also curious about some of the mechanics of how people make those things work. . . but I don't want a threesome. For me, having a fantasy doesn't mean that I want to do that fantasy in real life.
Not for me!
Not for me!
What does a sexual fantasy mean for you? Do you want to do your fantasies? Are there any fantasies that you NEVER want to do? Have you ever experienced a sexual fantasy and later regretted it?

  • You seem to be quite the tempered man. You may be able to control your sexual passions, but others would seek to make their sexual fantasies come true, no matter how depraved.

I think fantasy, has given way to depravity. Things once considered disgusting, reprobate and harmful like sodomy, went from fantasy to common practice. People are encouraged to entertain sexual fantasies, and their deviant proclivities are sent even further eschew by pornography.

People are being programmed from an early age to be deviants. Their fantasies aren't even their own.

  • I don't really have any sexual fantasy, but I go pretty well with those of my girlfriend, which you know some of them are pretty unusual.
Naturally, we too know that some of them are better left that - a fantasy. Ä

    • Thanks for MHO!

  • A lot of my fantasies have happened. Some were better left as fantasy and some were great. Some other fantasies are just impossible and I wouldn’t want to do anything close to them because they’re probably illegal, immoral and dangerous. Like that one about the herd of centaurs.

    • Oh, I would LOVE to read about your experiences and fantasies. For me, it's a real turn on to hear what woman fantasizes about.

    • @nothingtosee You did notice that this question was asked more than a year ago, right?

    • @Daniela1982 No, sorry, I didn't. Oh well, story of my life.

  • I think fantasizing can be dangerous so reality

    • @OlderAndWiser thank you sir

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Guys dream of sex with more than one woman but lets face it. They are good for one ejaculation so someone is going to be left in the dust. I'm pretty sure that in this instance quality trumps quantity.

    • That is so true. I think the reason so many men fantasize about it is, having more than one woman "wanting" them and being used (sexually) by more than one. Plus, feeling 4 hands all over their body, and not knowing who is touching you and what they're about to do to you. Plus, what if one of them wants me to do something really naughty, kinky or taboo? I'm going to "have" to do it! lol

  • I've had several sexual partners in my life and have experienced the most amazing sex, but it has always been confined to normal, heterosexual sex in almost every position. Some of it included girls dressing in cute attire. Of course, there has been oral as well as lots of kissing and licking various body parts.

Fantasies are something else again. They usually involve taboo scenarios and I would never ever consider doing in real life. Rape is one, and it can involve a wide range of scenarios. Rape is about taking a woman who is unwilling, possibly inexperienced. It is about subjecting her to things that she finds degrading, uncomfortable or even painful.
To satisfy my curiosity, I sometimes write short stories for my own amusement. A frat guy might lure a high school girl into a situation where he winds up roughly skull fucking her and cumming down her throat. Or a princess might get captured by a rival war lord and subjected to his every sexual whim. Or, there might be more than two people involved.

I think fantasy is part of having a normal, healthy imagination.

    • I agree about rape. However, I can see why women fantasize about it. It's about being taken and used sexually. Maybe being forced to do things they would never want to do or try. As a man, I fantasize about being raped by a woman, or women. I like the idea of being used by a woman, or women for their own personal sexual desires. I like the idea of being passed around like some sort of sex toy and being forced to pleasure all of them, several times, several different ways.

  • I have a couple sexual fantasies and if I had the opportunities to experience them in real life, I absolutely would have.

I still think about some of them now and then…and it’s somewhat satisfying that I still get really horny when I play them out in my head…

  • As I get older, I am coming out of my "shell", as I was very shy when I was younger, I think its more a fact of being insecure and low self esteem. But I was always curious, and had dark and twisted fantasies since I can. remember... I was just too shy to share it with anyone. I definitely would like to live out some of my fantasies... baby steps of course. Its one thing to. have these fantasies, and another when you are actually going through with it.

    • My experience in my late 20's and early 30's was very similar.

    • I agree with you. But, isn't it hot and fun to share those fantasies with someone and find out they enjoy hearing about it and talking about it with you? I would love to know what your naughtiest, kinkiest sexual fantasies are.

  • Just to throw another couple of variations into the mixer; have you ever had a highly erotic/sexually orientated 'dream' that you'd like to become reality?

Have you ever had a highly erotic/sexually orientated 'dream' that you'd definitely NOT like to become reality?

  • I also have had a fantasy about a threesome and have also had opportunities to have them. I do not want to act on it because I do not want to share my partner and I also do not want to have casual sex.

  • I voted F

  • A lot of my fantasies came true. But there are still some I'd want to do

    • Like what?

  • I don't have a sexual life that I'm gonna have something that I can call 'reality', but I do have a clear distinction between doable fantasies and the ones that I know I can't do. And I definitely don't wanna miss out on any of my 'doable' fantasies in the future.

  • If my sexual fantasies became realities, it would be the best thing ever.

  • Women: Rape is not really about sex, it's about power and control. Hence why it's a horrific and traumatizing experience.

Also women: Rape fantasies are not really about rape, they're about power and control. Hence why they're a huge turn on and immensely enjoyable.

Me: Is logic and coherence not compatible with the female brain?

    • Men Are From Mars; Women Are From A Parallel Universe.

    • I agree

    • 😂 🤣😆 this never gets old. Maybe he can't be a rapist when he's rich and powerful? (50 shades of grey)

  • Let's put it this way: Some sexual fantasies would make sense to act on and some of them are much better left what they are.

I love it when a woman initiates the sex with me like she's unwrapping a gift box and goes for what she wants.

But When ones sexual Fantasy is to cuckold me, then that's a giant fat NEIN. I consider it cheating.

  • Wait, you mean my fantasy can't be a reality? 😭

    • I never said that!

    • Oh good. 😋

  • I’ve always had this fantasy of bang a girl in the most unlikely place like at a job/school. Real spontaneous and when I drop her uniform/outfit she wasn't wearing anything sexy since she wasn’t planning on laid. She is just wearing some simple regular panties. It’s why I like regular panties on women

  • Let's see I've done, mmf, ffm, mfmf, mm, I think that's all. lol. having a bi wife helps with most fantasies.

  • Definitely C.

  • I’ve been with several different women but not a lot so I haven’t done many things I want to yet because not many women are uninhibited but I think I would like for most fantasies to come true

  • Some of mine have happened. Some can stay a fantasy. But I’m pretty open so I’m fine with reality

  • And I have experienced my sexual fantasies in real life.

  • I want both. I want to make my sexual fantasies a reality
