Sexually assaulted by boyfriend?

what do i do if i was sexually assaulted by my boyfriend? i broke up with him already but i’m scared he is going to come hurt me. he’s a sociopath, and when he gets angry, he gets angry. but i don’t want to have him arrested. i’d love for him to go to the mental hospital but i don’t know if i can put him there involuntarily. i don’t have proof of him saying he has rape fantasies about me or that he wants to kill people (he has verbally told me these things), so i don’t think i could. the sexual assault happened five days ago. i am unsure if i was raped or not, because i was unconscious, but i did tell him that night no to sex or anything sex related, so there is no way he could “read between the lines.” and i don’t give a shit if he was my boyfriend, he had no business undressing me without my consent and touching me down there when i told him not to.

  • I suggest you find the victim counseling department at the police. He committed a crime but you're gonna get dragged through the mud if you press charges. Do you have a male friend that you think might be able to scare this guy enough to leave you alone?

    • exactly, i don’t want to be dragged through it all. i don’t have that mental or emotional strength right now. i have a male friend that said he would kill him if he came after me, but i’m afraid my ex is going to be so much stronger since he has steroids that he plans on using

    • Go find the counselors. Maybe you can report it to the police so it'll be on the record but not press charges?

  • You could have been raped, and by morning, the evidence could be gone if he uses a condom. You have no grounds to put him in a mental hospital. That he took your clothes off without your consent, as you were unconscious, without any particular need to do so for your safety or wellbeing, is assault. You say you don't want him arrested. It's unlikely that anything can be proven about the assault, so an arrest would only be temporary, if at all. Along with not wanting him arrested, that in the end, if he does more to you, may be the only avenue that you have to protect yourself. You need to contact a rape counseling service. Most cities and counties have these. The real issue her now, if your recovery from the assault, and your safety from him. Your only protection may be the police. Again, contact a rape counselling service. Calling a hospital or police station should be able to help you find one.

  • Dump him completely and tell him not to have any contact with you, stating that you will report him to the police as a dangerous stalker if he tries. Before this ultimatum, DO record his violent tantrums so you can prove your claims. Leave copies with trustworthy friends and your family. Tell them to contact the cops with this material should you be found beaten to a pulp, dead, or gone missing. I am not kidding.

  • The police must at least have such a guy on the record if he have such fantasies and already started to act on them. I reported a guy who sexually harassed me. But I have chosen not to press charges or go further more. but he deserved to have his name reported so if he ever get involved in something it would be taken more seriously

    • how did you report without charges being pressed?

  • Buy a gun its called protect. take your time you young folks always in rush. slow down and take your time.

  • you need to go to the police

  • If you don't call the police, then you are supporting his behavior and encouraging more of it. This isn't rocket science. He violated you against your will. Not sure I want to know why you were passed out and how you knew he did anything.

  • Discuss this with the police to see if they can charge him.

  • Fuck you

    • My bad my comment sent too early. I was gonna say "Fuck your boyfriend"

  • It might be for the best time f you do report him. He obviously needs help and it’s no good for you if you’re living in fear.
You were sexually abused. He May do it again.

  • Report him anonymously before he hurts you again, kills someone or rape another girl he should be locked up for a few months in the mental hospital till he gets it.

  • Well, if you don't have him arrested, there is nothing you can do. Continue to be a victim.

  • Obviously call the cops

  • Fall a police report.

    • File a police report

  • In order for him to go to mental hospital he has to be diagnosed with a mental disorder or proof that he is a danger to society

  • Either calm the police or do not. Your choices are binary. But know this, by calling the police you are setting events into motion that you will not be able to control OR stop of you want. Once you say "rape" your ex boyfriend will feel the full weight of the U. S. government on his ass.

    • that’s why i want him to go to a mental hospital, because he’s not well mentally, he needs help, not to sit in a cell and rot

    • He will sit in a jail cell and rot. Having him arrested will ensure that.

  • Here's the thing, if you don't report him he could do this again to another girl or girlfriend, he's prob already done this to his ex girlfriend and she's afraid to speak out, do you really want this to carry on and put other girls in danger.

I know you don't want to call the police and want to get him some help but in this situation a mental institution won't help him, a prison therapist might but you need to report him or at least check with an ex girlfriend of his if you know one and see if he's done this before. Stop it in its tracks now before it gets out of hand.

  • Call the police.

  • Restraining order and try to relocate somewhere he can’t find you

  • Collect as much evidence as you can. Text messages, pics of brushing etc. Go to police. It probably won’t end in charges for him but if you have a record of abuse and he won’t leave you alone, bam, slammer.

  • That something only you can decide.
I’d start by talking to the police and see what your options are.

  • yes you were "Raped", what you do is your choice.. reporting it will mean he can never come near you again with being arrested, that may be safest... talk to a female police officer

  • The key word here is... unconsious.

  • We'll he's gonna rape you sooner or later. at least suck his dick to get him off
