Should I be offended that my boyfriend has never called me hot/sexy?

he only tells me i'm beautiful/pretty. obviously i know those are good. but i feel like those don't imply any sex appeal at all and sometimes a girl likes to feel like she is sexy! what do you think?

Some people take hot/sexy as a sign that all you care for is looks. Pretty/beautiful may seem a bit more appealing because it seems more likely to describe personality as well. I personally use beautiful much more often than "sexy" to describe my girlfriend.
