I think you should be able to tell him about anything in your life. There is no downside: if he likes it that could be really great :) if he doesn't you'll get a sense of how he reacts, and if he respects you.

Well to answer your question, yes. Maybe not upfront, but if it came up in casual conversation you may tell him hoping he reads it. Especially if you want to date him, he may like it.
I think it could definitely be a turn on. I'm not much into erotic fanfics, but I wouldn't mind my girlfriend writing them. Would probably me more into it if she read them to me.
