Should women be able to “free the nipple”?

I don’t know how popular this is anymore, but it was just a random thought that popped up into my head as I was driving. I wanna know how you guys feel or see it. Should women be able to free the nipple, or should women not free the nipple? My voice: I personally don’t think it should happen. Girls nowadays complain about men cat calling, or grabbing onto them, or even random men slapping their asses when they walk by. Why would you want to walk around with your tits showing if you can’t handle a verbal calling? And what about those who are in relationships or in a marriage? Is it right to stare down or eyeball that topless woman who is walking by you and your wife/girlfriend downtown or wherever? It seems worse than porn because you could be walking around seeing people you know. That girl that’s been trying to hit up your man, she’s now walking past you and your man on the sidewalk topless. Over the years, boobs and nipples of have been very sexualized. I wouldn’t see any problem about it if people didn’t sexualize it as much as it is now. I sure as hell don’t want to see someone’s tits hanging when I decide to leave my house. Nor would I want my children to see that too. Your boobs are suppose to be for you and your man (or men if you have multiple sexual partners). Not for everyone else. I wouldn’t want my man looking at his exes boobs, or the girl he talked to before me, or the girl he works with, or the girl that flirts with him, etc. I don’t want him looking at them if they chose to “free their nipples”. I don’t think it’s appropriate at all. Regardless, you still have to wear a shirt if you go into a store or restraint. So what’s the point in constantly putting a shirt on and taking it off? Only time it should be acceptable is during breast feeding. That’s what boobs are suppose to be for, is to nurture children. Not for men to stare and sexualize and get hard one from.

  • Well if a woman go topless it's not means that men are allowed to touch her without permission, just as men should not touch woman with cleavage or woman in bikini without permission. You said it yourself, the main purpose of boobs is to to nurture children, so they are not an real sexual organ. A topless man attract women as well, especially if he have good looking body. Don't act as if shirtless scenes are not an fanservice for women. Also boobs are sexualized more because women are force to hide them, if men are used to see boobs at around, then they are less sexualized, you can ask nudists about it. Anyway I don't have problem with 'free the nipple' and 'go topless day'. I can see why you feel threatened by it, but large part of it has to do with insecurities.

    • If freeing the nipple stops the sexualization of boobs, then how is it suppose to be “special” for that one person you love? It’s suppose to be something private. I know my boyfriend would have a huge problem with me going out freeing my nips, but he’ll probably think it’s okay to look at the females who would free theirs. That’s unfair. Even if I’m married or if I wasn’t so insecure, I would still have a problem with my man seeing women naked who aren’t behind a screen. Going back to my first post, you said the porn stars behind the screen aren’t real and in front of us, well. These females walking around topless, are. Explain that please.

    • You right that unlike porn stars those women are fully real/not behind a screen, but on the other hand those women are not fully naked, they only topless, and those women don't do any sexual act. Also how is that not fair? maybe those women are single, or their boyfriend don't have problem with it. Who said that it suppose to be something private? people don't born with shirts. Well what makes it special is that they belong to the woman that the man loves, boobs by themselves are not that special anyway, most women are having boobs after all.

  • In Germany they are many nudist places and you can sun topless or breastfeed without any trouble. If they are certain places I would say its okay but not everywhere

  • While I understand that most women probably wouldn't rush to go topless in public, I think it should be their choice not to, not the government's choice.

  • Most women have commented to questions I've asked about this saying "they don't consider breasts sexual", yet they won't go topless if they can? lol. I'm all for it. I think not only should it be legal everywhere, anytime, but if women actually did it, it would eventually become "normal" and accepted. People would eventually think nothing of it.
