i don't think you need to tell. however if you are so close to this coworker that you feel a need to tell the information you may have a different problem on your hands.
why would be trying to cover something if there was nothing to hide? meaning that if the coworker was such a done deal why do you even feel the need to mention it? I don't expect to know all of my partner's past sexcapades nor do I want to divulge mine.1 0 0 0No.
