My answer to your question is another question. Why do you want to be friends with benefits with this guy? If the answer is anything other than "because I'm bored and want sex," I would urge you to reconsider, especially since you are a virgin in all aspects. If you are even a little attracted to him, fooling around has a high likelihood of amplifying those feelings. I know you think it won't be a big deal, that you know what you're getting into, yadda yadda, but you don't. Until it happens and you end up all heartbroken because you have all of these new feelings that he doesn't return. Oxytocin is powerful. In this scenario, any friendship you have with this guy will be destroyed.
But if you're dead set on doing it, I guess the only thing I can say is communicate, and be good to yourself. Keep talking to your friend, check in with each other, make sure you're on the same page. Share your feelings honestly with each other. And if you feel like you're getting in over your head, for your own sake, please just end it before you end up hurt. Don't settle for FWB when you want a relationship, and don't think that continuing to hook up with him is going to make him eventually want a relationship.
So that's my spiel. Good luck, and have (careful) fun.0 0 0 0Thanks for BA. What did he/you decide?
Your welcome! We are gona be FWB. I know what you said is true but we're going to try to keep the friendship as well which means communication. So I guess you could say I am dead set on it. Thanks for your answer/help!
No problem! I wish you all the best.
If he is a good friend it shouldn't be awkward honestly...But why not just be in a relationship and give your innocence to a guy that will cherish you for more than a FWB...just curious
