Hardly surprising. Comic books has always been like this including their characters. This whole outrage that a character started a relationship and that it is same sex is incredibly silly.
First of all, they establish relationships all the time, break them all the time and establishes new ones which include gay relationships. Point to a prominent character in a comic and they have probably had a gay relationship in the past. Its just how the natural story of comics progresses.
However, Superman in particular is extra stupid to be upset about. He is not human, as in he is an alien. Imagine if someone you knew got into a relationship with an alien, is your first thought that "OMG, is it a 'male' alien or a 'female' alien?". Dude, its an alien. What point is there to apply human genders to them?

Just a clarification you should have mentioned, this is Clark Kent's son not him so yeah he inheriyed the mantle of superman but it's not the same one.
That being said I can't express how much I hate these neo lefitst agendas that think it's ok to show this stuff to children. We already have a generation that is beyond confused when it comes to sexuality and the newer one is looking to be much worse.
I can't help shake the feeling that this is being deliberately done in order to reduce earth's population. Since gay people can't reproduce at least not as easily as poking someone a couple of times

Is this canon? I’m not sure it is, in regards to the personality or character of Superman. I think this may be some alternate reality or spin-off of some sort. Either way, I’m not really bothered by it, but it’s just something that doesn’t seem right because superman, for all his existence, hasn’t been bisexual. It’s like if you changed Superman’s hair color to red, skin color to black, etc. Superman has been a certain way for awhile and sometimes change is good and sometimes it is bad and not needed for all sorts of reasons.
Imagine if a comic came out saying/showing Batman having a vagina instead of a penis.
You don’t have to change classic comic book characters to include more diversity in comics. You can just create new storylines and characters that are trans, bi, etc.

It's pretty creative and deep in philosophy (well I guess not demon slayer though), as a result, I do believe the fall of the comic book industry isn't the only reason why manga is becoming so popular. Manga itself is worth reading because many of them have values which may be difficult to be taught otherwise. For example, rezero taught me that even if you're weak, it doesn't mean you'll be useless
