tl;dr - Jesus said nothing on the subject of masturbation, and if he cared enough to say it's wrong, he would have. Catholics do, but they say lots of things Jesus never said. For women, masturbation is a wide world - there's probably something out there that will scratch the itch.
The Bible doesn't explicitly forbid masturbation anywhere. There is no commandment saying "Thou shalt not get thyself off" and Jesus never said "Beat not thy meat, for it is a sin and will lead you astray like a lost shepherd" or anything like that. Of course masturbation existed when each of the various parts of the Bible were written, and it would say so if there were some problem. Catholics don't like masturbation, but... at the risk of ruffling some feathers, is the Catholic church really a church of Jesus, or or is it a church based on what Paul the Apostle thought about things?
There's stuff about adultery and adulterous thoughts, and adultery does include premarital sex. So based on the bible, I'd say the solution is to get better at/more creative with your "skills" and try not to think about any particular guys while you're... at it. If you're Catholic, confess every Sunday and call it good. I'm kidding. If you're Catholic, I guess hands off, and sorry about the Paul thing.
There are some Christians who say fingering and oral and even anal don't count as sex, but really... do you think you're gonna slip a technicality past God? I don't, for one.
Beyond whatever you're currently doing, there's the shower head. I've heard that can be "friendly." Also there are um... props. For women. That go buzz. I'm told they're thorough. There's certainly nothing in the Bible about vibrators, and again... if Jesus had a problem with people getting themselves off, he probably would have said something about it to one of the gospel writers. I'd recommend one of those. With the internet being what it is, you should be able to get your hands on one. If not, back massager. The companies that make them know damn well what women use them for and they're designed with that in mind.
You'll be alright. Sex is 100x better when it's with someone you love, and if that's only gonna happen when you're married, it's worth it.
And obviously, whatever a girl has to say on this subject is probably far more sensical and informed. Definitely check with them before you run off and spend money on a sybian. (Don't start with a sybian.)1 1 0 0Thorough answer! Thanks!
First of all you have to stop watching porn if you are. It's a HUGE problem in society today because it's so easily accessible. I'm a Christian and I got a little bit addicted to it once. I knew it was wrong but I got used to clicking on some when I felt a little bit horny. I'm not perfect and I admit I looked at some recently but I know I shouldn't. But I went through a faze when I was regularly watching it all the time and I found myself like you when I was doing it. I was feeling constantly horny and wanting more and more sexually. Like a drug. It's a dangerous situation to get into really. But I stopped watching it all the time and I found I wasn't horny all the time and could focus better on daily life. I'm not addicted like I was but I've still got some work to do too. And I don't wanna fall into that trap again. Because it is a trap and a bad one to be in.
I'm a virgin and I still masturbate. I don't think I could give that away to be honest. We're still human. I feel ridiculously horny sometimes. I believe it's ok to do it as a way of sexual release and there's nothing specific in the bible saying it's a sin. But don't let it rule your life. If you can't leave the house or get through a normal day because you have to masturbate then it's becoming a problem. Start by giving away porn if that's your situation. It's the best decision you'll ever make to help calm down those hormones. You'll find you'll have a clearer mind and you won't be constantly horny all day. I still believe it's ok to masturbate or you'll go crazy. But most of the time imagination instead of porn is enough for me to get the job done and calm down my hormones lol. Also would you ever dream of looking up porn in the middle of a church service? I don't think so lol. Think about that the next time you feel like looking at it. So start by making a quality decision. No more porn. As soon as the desire is there to search for it stop yourself. Tell yourself no! The power is in your hands. And of course we have God to call on for help. It's the best decision you'll ever make. And I'm speaking from experience.1 1 0 0Thanks for the thorough answer😊
You're welcome! And I hope it helps with whatever you're struggling with 🙂
How do you know it is wrong to watch porn? And why do you believe it is a HUGE problem? Climate change is a HUGE problem. Here are some other problems in the US that are huge compared to porn: Homelessness, lack of access to medical care, abusive and racist policing, hunger, the impoverishment of the middle class, all much bigger problems than porn. Sociologically, porn is a complete non-problem. Kind of like marijuana. People pretend that it's a problem, but they really can't point to anything specific except that they think it's yucky.

Your going to have the feeling to have sex. God made us sexual humans to become one with your spouse and multiply. Not to just give in to the flesh an jus be having sex jus cause. Yes its hard to fight off that sexual "want" but you have to pass the test to not fall into temptation. Thats not God wants you to do. you have to come to him and pray that he remove that sexual spirit off you that you will do things to please him. Gods is watching you while you do it every time disappointed. If you could see him and he walked in on you would you stop and feel bad or keep going? If it doesn't seem right then its not. Stick to your beliefs and focus on doing things to please God not you. Fight off that feeling you can.
0 1 0 0so having sex without procreating is a bad thing? masturbating is a bad thing? feeling lust makes me evil? you believe that "God" watches you at every single second of your entire life? at all times? and judges you? and at the second you step out of line you are damned to hell?
@FrenchyRomain yes it's bad to masturbate. you're acting on lust which is a sin. you're pleasing the Flesh and not the spirit. lust doesn't make you evil but acting on your lustful thinking is wrong. which is like saying you're not strong enough or weak minded to not fight off the want to have sex... you are falling into temptation.. instead of standing fast on God. God watches you everyday all day throughout your life. yes he judges you. are you going to do the right thing or not? are you going to pass his test or fail? are you doing things to please others and do what they say or are you doing things to please God and do what his word says? you are not damned to hell every time you step out of line but you will be held accountable for all the wrong doings
Ok. Well, what did you do when you were younger? Was this ever a problem for you?
First of all, you're a kid. So I find answering this question a bit disturbing. However, I will say this further proves how nuts and maniacal this dumbass god is. Anything that brings us any sort of pleasure in life is a threat to this insecure nutjob's ego and thereby considered a sin. So why do Christians continue to worship him/it? What kind of life are you living with your hands constantly tied? With a question like this, you are not enjoying your life and in constant worry. And yes, masturbation is a sin, because it has to do with lust.
0 1 1 0@realerthanreal maybe we are worshipping and becoming slaves to this finite world rather than God, God who must be addressed with honour.
Sex isn't evil, masturbation isn't wrong. Don't repress everything. That never does anyone any good, psychologically.

3 23They have sex just to give you a blunt and honest answer and yes before marriage.
0 0 0 0I went to a Christian school. The majority just had sex when they were ready - that's what modern religious people do now anyway.
0 1 0 0Consider yourself lucky. What do Muslims do when it comes to being horny?
1 0 0 0That I don't know.
Their religion is a lot stricter. I am sure your pastor or youth group church leader will at least understand your feelings.
Real Christians don't have that problem
0 0 0 0Lololol Brainwashed out of normal human function
😂are you being serious? Are you Christian by any chance?
Indeed I am a Christian
Everyone masturbates. It's fine. What Christians and everyone else used to do is marry early. Now what everyone does (at least in Western countries) is have sex before marriage. That's fine too. Your parents probably did.
1 0 0 0For Christians, pre-marital or extra-martial sex is not an option. That is either fornication or adultery, both of which are hell-worthy sins. It is all in the Bible. Makes me glad that I am a Wodanist. We celebrate sex.
@cth96190 There's like everything in the bible. All modern Christians just pick the stuff they like and ignore the rest, even the ones who claim they don't. I don't see anyone forcing their daughter to marry a rapist. Anyway, it's very possible to be Christian without believing that every word of the bible is from God.
