What do you honestly think of the "Free the Nipple" movement? Should women be able to go out in public bare chested just as men do?

  • Anyone who does not understand the contrast of sexual responses between men and women lie to themselves. A reasonably attractive man could be topless in room full of young women and elicit glances and maybe the occasional compliment. Maybe.

But a girl topless in a crowd of men will get more extreme responses. Anonymous groping, inappropriate talk and even more. In some places and settings and places it might even encourage rape.

It is the difference in the way we are wired chemically. Men's DNA make us addicted to sexuality; part of reproductive strategy when men seldom lived beyond age 30. We were wired to continue our species' survival by fukking every suitable female in sight. In my view, the existence of harems and polygamy in the past was the product of so many men being killed in wars and earlier, in hunting game. Those who survived had to keep the babes pregnant to keep things going.

If women were to insist to be out in public bare chested, some sexual response would be likely. No amount of Wokism will change that. To expect self-restraint by men in Western Culture can be reasonable. Topless and even nude beaches prove that. But anywhere outside it is waving a red cape (as in a bull fight) in front of men. Something you do not want to happen will happen.

Women are free to free the nipple if they choose, but they must expect consequences and not be adequately protected against them.

  • Men and women are equal in everything. If you think they aren't then you've been brainwashed into thinking that way. Only difference is women can give birth. So that being said, yes women should be allowed to walk around topless in places men can. If women can't then men can't. Especially at any beach. If men go topless so should women. Since women can't (at most beaches) then men can't. Men should have to wear a t-shirt.

Tbh... some men should have to wear a t-shirt anyway... lol. Some aren't to pleasing to be shirtless.

  • I would love for it to be a thing. I participate in the practice and certain events and it is quite liberating and empowering, BUT you do have to have a certain stomach for it. In theory it would be a great way to, over time, desexualize our breasts; not entirely, but at least to the point where most people aren't making stupid faces as if they've never seen a pair or acting stupid and beyond. However that brings up the next thing, and that is that even where it's legal people make a fuss and more. I can take people giving me nasty looks as if my boobs will be the downfall of society. I can handle the lustful looks, they just come with the territory. But I have been groped, leered at, people taking advantage of the crowd and shoving a camera to just a few inches from my nipples to get it in 4-fucking-K.

  • no, excuse my language but I believe it is stupid, because there are bigger and more important issues in this world we should be focusing on. I do not believe that men and women can be 100% equal, and that included the whole “free the nipple” movement.

  • Sure. Of course when it first becomes okay, a lot of less mature men would go nuts over them. Women's boobs are appealing, but they are when covered, too. I certainly would look, but I would not stare. I have been around many thousands of nude women and basically admire them the same as fully dressed women.

  • Dew it!

  • it doesn't bother me, there are places i can be topless and that's enough for me

  • It would be a good thing so that maybe men will stop over sexualizing boobs

    • Would you appear topless in public if you lived where it was legal?

  • Men and women chest look different don't mean that women should be forced to cover theirs.

  • I don't want to scare people lol.

  • They certainly should!! It's only nipples!! We already get to see all the other bits, the ones that guys DON'T have!! There's been a law in NY since 1993 where women can walk topless in public any place a man can, as long as she's not using her "nudity" for commercial gain.

  • No. That would be stupid. It's like mothers breast feeding in public, and complaining that guys look.

  • I think if guys are aloud to be topless in certain places, so should women.

  • I love it and I think its awesome!

  • Sure.

  • Fkn stupid

  • I'm a nudist so yeah I support it

  • isn't this jsut going topless on the beach no issues
