That's not what I meant by that. Men's sport is more popular, a lot of men won't ever bother watching or attending womens sport because "women aren't supposed to be sporty". The issue would be with I don't know haven't looked up numbers but perhaps Olympic athletes rather than teams. Pay gap issues are only issues when two people of different genders have the same job, same experience, done it for a similar amount of times and one is being paid more than the other.
