  • Besides shameful masturbation or video games? Not really.

    I would be lying if I said exercise helped with stress; it only makes me feel worse. Knowing I'm not in the best shape I could be and feeling exhausted after an hour sweating... It only adds to my stress, not relieves it. Whether that be the elliptical machine, or boxing sessions. There's this one dude at my boxing gym who's like 6'6"! (I live in South Korea!) He seems friendly enough and it's implied he thinks I'm cool because I'm an American, but I just feel so much envy towards this tall MF'er. It's not like I'm even a better boxer than him; we're at nearly the same skill level. So he has all the advantages, plus reach, and I have literally none. Just a short 181 cm "loser" who can't box better than him. (See; it's making me stressed out even thinking of it!)

    i like running 2-5 miles 4-5 times a week, and if LIfe is super stressful, i to an extra 1/2 to 1 mile until i feel like i am gonna collapse.. and the extra sweat is so much that i can wring out my shirt like it is a wet sponge.

  • It really helps when I pay attention to my dog. Whether it's playing with him or grooming him or teaching him a new trick, etc. It's like my dog absorbs all of my stress. Or at least I forget about my stress while I'm with my dog.

  • Reading the Bible, taking a walk in nature, studying some history, a nice long bath and general "me" time away from people. I'm ambivert so I draw energy from being with people but need alone time to recharge.
    I'm too competitive to do sports in a relaxing manner. Especially basketball which is my favorite.

  • I go to the gym and have a HIIT session and leave it all on the flooor.

  • I try to find myself alone to manage it myself, I try to direct my mind to other thoughts and to set "goals" that allow me to focus on that rather than my stress
