What's your take on the LGBT?

Whats your take on the LGBT?
I personally have nothing against homosexuals, two people should be able to do what they want. I have nothing against trans people in principle. What bothers me is modern LGBT culture. Your sexual orientation is just that, a sexual preference, just like a fetish. You don't have to publically display it or turn it into a political issue. As for Trans people, for me a trans woman is still a man crossdressing as a woman. There is nothing wrong with that, but I won't call him a woman. If he admits that it's just a fetish and that he is actually a man then we're good. Before you call me whatever phobic, this is actually too open minded for people where I live, i wouldn't even dare say that in real life.

  • I am very open and happy with the LGBT side of things.

The UK is gradually getting there and I’ve friends, family that reflect the full spectrum.

first off being Gay is not a fetish, it’s is something that should happen public.

The fact you live in a country where you cannot say anything about it, shows exactly why LGBT is and needs to be political.

(I am against the fucking around with pronouns and some other extreme views).

having a sister that is bi, and came out at 15, it’s definitely not a fetish and saying it shows a lack of understanding what a fetish is.

The fact that a gay or bi girl or guy can go to a pub or club and not receive abuse from others is a sign of a progressive society.

where a country does not have bars and or clubs for gays, bi etc, then that is a 6th century country and needs to change.

  • I don't mind if i see it on the street but personally i don't like it and i disagree with it
Also I'm ok with those people as long as they don't try and change other people's sexuality

  • I'm bi and my lover is a lesbian, so I'm a member of the LGBT community. People should be free to be themselves without judgment.

What's been bothering me about the community lately is how politicized it's become and how militant the community itself is becoming. It's become just another billy club that the social elites, politicians, and internet slacktivists use to bash middle America over the head with.

Besides being bisexual and cohabitating with a lesbian, I find it harder to identify with the LGBT community with each passing day. And yes, my lover feels almost the same way I do.

    • This! I have nothing against people like you at all. I'd even wish we could be friends.

  • This! When they shove it in your face by having parades and posting pics on Instagram, or file lawsuits when they don't get their way when straights can't, that's where the problem is to me.

  • Personally, I am pissed off with it all. Like you say, keep it to themselves. No need for me to know anything about their sexual orientation. If I use the wrong pronoun, it's not my problem. If you look female, you get called she/her.

  • I am against it.

  • I have no problem with it, its their lives

  • I completely disagree with all this

  • Love is love and the conservatives need to stop being crybabies over it

  • I hate the concept of sexual orientation and lgbtq in general, but I don't care a bit about the actual lgbtq people, also picking the rainbow as a flag ruined how I look at it.

  • LGBT individuals set a bad example for children.

  • Dont demand that everyone celebrate your sexual perversions and keep some of it to yourself instead of having gay parades
